Chronicle Collectibles were kind enough to throw in some prints of concept sketches that were made by Tippet Studios, I have uploaded the scans to the blog.

Thanks for the review. I was looking at getting a chronicle as I already have HT… after seeing this I don’t want to waste the price they want these days on the studio version…

this is a replica of the real stop motion model used on movie. the missing parts of foot are also missing in the movie. this model its kilometers better than hot toys one, but hot toys is more for fun.

I have the NECA version. It's much better than it looks in most of the pictures I've seen of it, but it could do with a more weathered paint job and more articulation in the head and moving toes. I've got the Hiya Toys 1/18 ED-209 on pre-order and also the Good Smile Company Moderoid ED-209 kit, I'm hoping they'll be good.
I definitely can't afford the chronicles version lol!

From the pictures, it looks Good Smile Company's ED209 nailed it. It looks really good. Btw Chronicle Collectibles went bust @.@

@@TheFlyingCollector Oh wow! Maybe they should have charged less for their stuff.
I'd love to have the Chronicles ED-209 and Robocain, but not at that price.
I'm tempted to try and get hold of the hot toys ED, I really like it, aside from the awful voice. I'm not sure how they messed that one up.
I think the Hiya Toys will be good, I have the battle damaged RoboCop by them and it's great, pictures do it no justice.
The smile company looks excellent, I just hope I can do a good job assembling it, I've never done a model kit lol! I've got the Hagane Works Robocop on pre-order too, so I'll be hopefully posing them in battle.
