    Moisture depends on how the roof is done. There should be a layer of porous foil over the mineral wool and over it, 2-4cm of space for ventilation (the battten-counterbatten layer) and it is enough. If there is a complete wooden decking over rafters, then 2cm space between rafters and mineral wool.
    Only downside- more materials have been used, and a second, 5-10cm cross-layer of mineral wool would add a lot of insulation since wood is worse than wool
    You can use the extra space for storage, though ;)

      Anyway the vents should not be closed on the roof and the sides. In that case rafter baffles should be used.
