School supply lists get crazier and crazier every year... in college I had so many leftover unused school supplies that I didn't have to buy anything new the whole time I was there.
Me too. I was taking an art course 2D art and bought a box of number two pencils for the project and I only use the few and I now have over 50 pencils so I'm selling them on Facebook LOL

I'm the oldest, so I usually pass down my school supplies to my other 3 brothers. Even then, the teachers are never satisfied.

I love your videos so much! My family is Central American, so they honestly don’t sound or behave exactly like the people you portray here. In fact, I grew up viewing Cubans as “not really Hispanic” porque they get special immigration status compared to other Hispanics (Latinos can be crappy to each other too). Pero I recognize mi familia in your videos so clearly...it’s like I’m seeing for the first time just how much we truly have in common with our Caribbean friends. Aunt Gloria and Michi’s Dad could literally be my Mom and Dad...I shiver when I see Gloria pick up that mug. Anyway, I hope you keep making these videos. 😊

Had a Cuban family living next door as a kid in Florida. Their daughter was the same age as me. For her getting to enter the 6th grade, ( middle school in Fla is 6-8th) they basically threw a _Quinceañera_ for her and invited the whole neighborhood! Instead of a pretty dress she had to model her new school clothes for everybody! Her parents acted pretty much like this; they were soo proud, she was mortified. Good times.
