I had to come back and see this again. I have a 37 degree Adams chipper that I like . Decided to try a black square strike at 45 degrees too so I have one on the way. Too interesting of an option not to try it. Hope to catch up with you two some time when you visit Connecticut. I am a member of Minnechaug Golf Course in Glastonbury, Ct. :). Joe

He proudly pulled out his SquareStrike on the second hole. Topped it. Offered to give it to me. He used his 7 iron on several similar shots and almost chipped in three from 40 feet. After as bad as I played, I should have taken him up on his gift offer. 🏌🏻

Cute Vid. I love my Square Strike. ($5 bin). For another unusual club try the Cleveland Hywood, which I also love. (Traded in some old clubs even). Another is the Alien sand wedge. My bunker game is horrendous, but this one was a fail for me. Your wheeling and dealings are rubbing off. :)
We might do a video on this soon! My tip would be: Set up a tee 1 inch ahead and 1 inch to the right of the ball. Aim at your target but try and swing out to the tee to the right of the ball.

Never saw that before. Cool for an Indy guy to see. Not too many shells around Indy, least of all in the bunkers
What course in Indy do you play? I've played SAHM and The Fort course a few times and they were a blast. We usually play around Bloomington when back in Indiana.
I've played just about every course around Indy. Sahm is ok, just played the Fort for the 1st time few weeks ago. Didn't play my best, but I liked it. Bear Slide, Deer Creek and Buffer Park(9 hole) are prob my favs. Spent most of my learning days at Winding River on SW side of Indy, where I live. Martinsville CC would be a good place to play, close to Bloomington.
I played with a guy who carried a full set of Calaway’s for 18 holes. The only two clubs he used was the 5 iron and putter. The grip on the 5 iron was worn out. Every other club in the bag looked bras new.

Haha yeah its been a little rough lately. Super hot out all day with a ton of rain so they basically have to keep it soaked all the time to save the greens but then it floods the bunkers.

Haha yep. I would have taken him up! Ive never mastered the 7 iron bump and run but the square strike seemed to work!
