Great demo. Seems like a really versatile amp. As i can see you've got a Vegatrem on the HH-Strat, is it worth the upgrade in your opinion? I'm looking to upgrade the trem on my 80s Tokai.
Yea, it definitely is. I built this Strat myself and installed the Vega-Trem right from the start. It's an amazing piece of hardware, stays in tune so well if you treat the nut correctly to avoid friction. I highly recommend it.
Just saw this pop up in my feed. My Astro 20 arrived today, so I had to watch the video. But the King's X shirt got the sub! 🤘🏻 Edit: AHHHH!!! 12:17! It's loooo-oooo-ooove...that holds it all to-ge-ther!"
For a home/recording amp, I love the clean channel. For a live amp, no way. If I can't store the tone/EQ settings, that's a huge deal breaker. btw, loved your playing.
I don't care how good it sounds... $1,995 for a little 20w head with two 6V6's is absolutely ridiculous. You should be getting a full 100w head for that...
You're 100% correct and in fact, you can actually find 100 watt heads for that price and even below that. Those amps won't have DI out, headphone out, IR loader with 6 slots, MIDI switching etc. though. But then again, some people don't need that...just like some people don't need 100w amps. :)
Woa.. they bringing their old classic!
As a Fender guy, I’m really impressed with that clean channel. This is already on my Christmas list.
Oh yeah, the clean sounds in this thing are solid aaaand tasty!!!
@@FrankFleckenstein funny enough I’m driving home from my local music shop with it in my car at this very moment😬
10:55. Summerland..? ;-) And I love your shirt. King´s X=The GOAT!
Now, that is a great sounding amp. I especially like it with the single coils.
Yeah, it worked great with Strats!
Great stuff. And excellent demo!
Thanks a lot! :)

This Amp is awesome!
It sure is!!!

Yeah man! Gotta love the classic KX stuff!!!
Considering the built in load box, IR loader and all the outs, it’s priced very fairly.
100%!!!!
Hey Frank, great video. The amp sounds awesome! What pickups do you have on the purple guitar? They sound awesome!
These are Q-Pickups from Croatia, PAF humbuckers with lots of definition and clarity! Low output though, which I actually prefer these days!

Thanks man! Yeah, it would need to be fully programmable for that to work, which is a different beast and price point in the end!

Regardless of watts, it sounds incredible! YT doesn't even do it justice.
All the same sounds, no differences between amps, at all.
Ok...
