  • Living in the era of big data, the real fight for drug discovery is how to better utilize small available data to predict outside of the known space, into the dark space. AI cannot be pure data driven but needs to be biology-informed and mechanism-guided.
Algorithm, Big Data, Big problems, Biology, Biotech I’m a PhD Candidate in computer science with an algorithmic focus on deep learning Out-of-Distribution generalization and an application focus on drug discovery. I’m looking for a research scientist role where I can help biologists deconstruct drug discovery problems to an algorithmic level and develop solutions. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
