Attempt #2! I felt like I was close to stabilizing game 1, but after getting a lot of feedback from you guys, I decided to go a different route. Too lazy to change the deck since they were already sleeved!

What a re-match! What a back and forth with a clutch moment of surviving thanks to the Upgrade and that turn of hoping the scheme doesn't advance. A great finale! I've always wondered for certain heroes where they feel ULTRA fun with certain upgrades out if they should start with those upgrades. Especially if it makes the match the gimmicks of other heroes. Reminds me how much fun Wolverine is because he gets his gimmick out quickly (his claws). While Drax builds up to it. 🤔 Like I've always thought She-Hulk starting out with her Super Hero Law Firm would make her SUCH an interesting character (though I adore playing her already).
Anyway, that's enough pondering from me, GREAT work with Drax! Seeing both losses and wins really helps the audience.
Thanks Ritsy! Like you, i prefer building out but i can definitely see the appeal of playing a hero like Drax where every turn is clutch and I’m just hoping that an Advance doesn’t turn 😆

That ending was awesome!! And so in character for Drax too. Really glad you did this rematch. I'm itching to play him again, but I'm going to hold out until Nightcrawler (and more importantly, Come Get It, Bub) get here.
Come Get It, Bub looks INSANE for Drax. It feels bad playing him right before that card came out. Free healing and a tough for free?! And Drax can solo most minions when he has his vengeance counters! Thanks Sven that card will be a huge buff for Drax
Great playthrough! I’m glad you gave him a second chance. Personally I would tweak the deck to include more non-exhaust defense events. Nerves of steel with sidestep and jump flip are often auto includes for my drax protection decks
I agree that would have been better. I was too lazy to resleeve and too stubborn to accept this deck couldn’t take on Thanos 😂 glad you enjoyed the game :)
Nicely done! The 4 handsize heroes feel very different from everyone else.
Thank you! And yes, the 4 handed heroes usually go at a different pace. Drax in particular has a hero ability that really forces me to play his style.

I can definitely see his appeal! He’s not my cup of tea because it feels like bad encounters could turn the game sideways, but when Drax gets going he goes hard!!
Great game ! Drax is one of my favorite hero. Quite tricky but when it works out it is a real blast. Nightcrawler green cards will give him a big boost. Would you change your Drax rating after playing him ?

I might have bad news, but maybe I'm wrong, we'll see. At 31m40s you use Mantis ability which reads "exhaust mantis and deal 1 damage to her -> now she's dead because last HP so she can't heal Drax for 3". Maybe I'm wrong, but this is how I understand cost arrow. It is no consequential damage that kill mantis but the cost to pay for her ability to trigger. This is why I tend to run Med Team to heal her for 2.
In any case, that was a very good run, you took lots of good decisions, like playing Dwee Tweet no matter what: key cards for him, and use your resources cleverly. Thank you for the video!
I double checked and I was wrong. You can use Mantis last HP to heal an identity before she dies. That is awesome. No misplay at all.

Why did you kept the parry turn 1 in your hand instead of using? That was weird.
I wanted to block more damage and take the weaker hits since Parry blocks more damage based on the amount of Vengeance counters Drax has and turn 1 i had no counters. I can definitely see the case to just play the Parry then and there
@@webwarriorfanatic Yeah, i see that. But I'd say 4 damage block (2atk) was pretty decent and you want your DWI card asap.

Good game man, I told you that key cards are Mantis and Mastery. I like to play (with or without repurpose combo) shake it off (more effective than establish perimeter) and taunt. I like what doesn’t kill me but I prefer to play Limitless stamina ‘cause as you in this match often I don’t have a fisical resource to play it. I’m not sure 100% but during the multiple attacks at minute 22 you forgot a couple of times to draw with Mastery…you played Clea before the last attack and you didn’t draw, the card Was Rocket…you coulissi play him instead of Clea and the game would be even better (Rocket could have done 4 overkill damage to Supergiant) but it doesn’ t matterai ‘cause you won!

At 13:30 to me it would've made more sense if you took the attack (which would've drawn you another card) and discarded Starhawk due to the stones effect.
Good win there at the end. Would be good to see you play Drax again with a optimal deck that suits the way he wants to be played. The deck you used didn't really combo well, just shows how good Drax can be in expert because of the damage he can get off.

What an epic battle ! Just like the movies ! As Drax wants to be attacked, do you think the Protection event, Not Today !, could work well for him ? It reduces each attack by 2 and removes threat (which helps shore up a weakness of Drax). Your videos are great 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Scott! Appreciate you. In regards to Not Today!, i personally don’t think it would work too well with Drax unless he’s defending a lot. Not only does it cost a resource to play which is a little expensive for Drax who wants 0 cost cards, he needs to block all damage and i can’t see him doing that reliably without Parry.

Why didn’t you thwart with Clea to possibly prevent the snap?
There was a crisis icon side scheme in play! So i couldn’t have removed threat from the main. I decided to ignore the side scheme when it came out turns to prioritize attacking 😅
