Mojo's was tearing up his office in an absolutely frenzy until Majordomo cleared his throat and politely asked the Grand Spineless One to check the replay... Is... Is that Deadpool bribing Bulldozer? What was Bulldozer DOING!? Did he THROW this match?! Who else was bribed?! GRRRAAAAAHHH!!! NOBODY CHEATS MOJO!!!!"
Firstly, THANK YOU for showing off this deck once more but also my custom BRUTE ROYALE RUMBLE scenario I am so THRILLED to see it in action! I had a lot of fun messing around with this scenario myself and found it so fun mechanically (plenty of interesting difficulty thanks to Magog's mechanics and Wrecking Crew/Titania's synergies). I also really enjoyed it thematically (I'm a simple gal, I get to combine Marvel Characters with Over the top Wrestling and I'm happy). I like to imagine being in Alter-Ego is just She-Hulk arguing with the Ref/Mojo while Magog gets time to hype up the crowd. (Not My Responsibility is the crowd throwing things at someone thus ignoring Magog). So all in all I'm DOUBLY glad you enjoyed playing it so much!
Secondly, THANK YOU I'm so flattered you liked the proxies and I'm happy you showed them off. I really love this deck and She-Hulk so making Proxies of the 'Pool cards and the Neutral cards was REALLY fun Plus I got inspired by some of my favorite She-Hulk comics in recent years (Once more a HUGE shout out to the Marvel Champions LCG Homebrew for their tutorials and templates). Way back when I was first buying sets I saw someone recommend getting Core Pack+Deadpool 1st and I was so happy that was my first purchase.
Thirdly, that gameplay though! Bulldozer came out early and aggressive! Titania came out as a scary finisher with a threatening 6 ATK to say 'You better finish this quickly, Greenie'. Part of the way I selected the modular for this was how Magog and the Wrecking Crew interact with Superhuman Strength. Which I'll get into on the Rules side of things. What I enjoy about your gameplay is you making these big decisions and being transparent about them 'Do I do x or do I do y...' you mull over them but not for overly long. Which was shown off here thanks to having Bulldozer in front of you so early! Plus the games are really easy to follow as you present then clearly!
Rules Things I looked into- ☝🤓
Magog is never actually defeated due to 'Instead/Replacement Effect' rules, which means even if She-Hulk punches him down her Superhuman Strength goes away unless he is already stunned. This DOES mean though that if he is hit with Cutupper for the KO he'll get back up with stun. Which means the time to hit him is with Cutupper or Mockingbird from the top rope followed by the She-Hulk Superstrength hits. This also means his retaliate still pings damage back 20:43 (As it is discarded after reset, though this doesn't change the match).
However, this is balanced in this scenario for She-Hulk as her superhuman strength makes knocking out the Wrecking Crew far easier due to them truly being defeated on her giant swings.
23:35 The 3-Boost DID matter Someone bribed Bulldozer to throw because he has OVERKILL which wasn't taken into account. Which would of been enough for the KO on She-Hulk. (If that is ignored it was still an AMAZING finisher and showed off the power of that Symbiote Suit final stand!)

First off, thanks for the rulings clarification. I need to note that Magog is never “defeated.” As i was reading your comment, my fingers were crossed that there wouldn’t be a huge mistake on my part. I believe that i never attacked Magog to “defeat” him with a Superhuman Strength so that was fine. You said the retaliate was inconsequential so that was fine… then there was the huge overkill swing from Bulldozer that i overlooked. Now your thematic story all makes sense how me and Deadpool cheated 🤣🤣😅
I’m going to pin your comment so everyone can see the truth! i really appreciate you setting up scenario-there were so many parts that synergized with one another that it felt like an official FFG designed matchup. I wish i didn’t take the L here, but this definitely won’t be the last time i play She-Hulk versus Magog. Playing Symbiote Suit has never been so fun and I’m still really enjoying the deck. @@webwarriorfanatic You'll crush him next time for sure! 💪Oh yeah, you never did the "defeated" punch with superhuman strength, so was mentioning that for future reference. 😃 As soon as you said "I can chump block this guy" and pointed to Bulldozer I was like 'Oh no, please read him again, please read him nooooooo' This was still definitely winnable during the turn that error was made as you could of taken out Bulldozer that turn for sure. Would of been a neck and neck throwdown for the crowd though from then on.
Once more I'm really happy you enjoyed the choice of modular(s) Wrecking Crew and Titania just work so well in this scenario and I'm glad you got to enjoy that! Plus how it interacts with She-Hulk's card mechanics, Magog's slow ticking up when you block with allies, the Crew shoring up Magog's weaknesses and Titania acting as an anti-stall timer.

Yes ‘Pool is the cheapest aspect 😂 you won’t need to get other packs to get more cards and it’s on par power level wise with the traditional 4 aspects
I really need to try this scenario; I love making homebrew scenarios. I also need to try She-Hulk more. I have not played her in a year or so.
I highly recommend this matchup! Ritsy really thought this out. It was a battle of the brutes, but i didn’t even realize that Magog had the brute trait until that treachery from Wrecking Crew comboed with it 🙌
Great match! I like the MaGog fight a lot. It feels like a race to the 10 counters when I'm playing with a hero that can't stun/confuse :)

@@webwarriorfanaticnot quite as many side schemes as that cable deck - I'm going with all the justice cards are all from the I ❤ Spiderman cable deck- so I have to do alot of changes but I think you found something special with that deck so I want to pull a chunk out of it and use it as a starting point in my next attempt

not sure I understand the wording of Dark Design. If it asks you to add a counter, then why it says "if it has any counters on it...". I mean...you just asked me to add it in the first sentence. The way we played it (I think) is that the counters would have needed to be there already, before revealing this card, in order to proceed with the second sentence. Are we playing this wrong? Is the wording of this card simply a bit weird?
I believe the correct order for Dark Design is to add a counter first, then check if *Pursued by the Past* 'pops.' If it does, you remove all the counters and put your nemesis into play. In this case, the villain won't scheme because there are no counters left. So with *Dark Design* as the encounter card, something bad always happens: either the villain schemes, or your nemesis enters play.
Just like @serenitypro87 said, if counters are added and the Forced Response on Pursued by the Past triggers, it states to remove all counters. Then, there would be no counters so Dark Designs would resolve without a scheme activation. Basically it can be summed up as, “The villain schemes, if your nemesis minion enters play than the villain does not scheme”
Are you sure that superhuman strenght isn't discarded if you cannnot apply the stun? As forced response I was convinced that you must discard it for the first istance of the test, then you stun the enemy...so you have to discard it even if you can't effectively stun anyone. If you're right about this I've always played She-Hulk wrong and an enterely new world opens to me...
Yes, it's a newer ruling from 1.5. Here's the quote from HallofHeroes:
"No, Superhuman Strength would not be discarded in either instance.
The main reason being, under the updated entry for “Forced” in the rules reference, we have made a ruling stating that if a forced ability requires a valid target but there is no valid target, the ability does not initiate. If an attacked enemy left play before the Forced Response on Superhuman Strength triggered, there is no valid target for the ability, so nothing happens. It’s similar if the enemy is still in play but cannot be stunned (e.g. because it’s already stunned); the Forced Response does not initiate."
