- Had the chance to stay in my first obstructed view Junior Suite 1406 on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. This is a full room tour of this AFT Junior Suite stateroom with an Aft Balcony. See what I liked and did not like including the obstructed ocean view and obstructed ship wake!

Hey Brandon, I love the aft rooms, relaxing on the balcony watching the wake with a coffee or drink, depending on the time of day. Too bad it is obstructed, but the size of the balcony is awesome. Thanks again for sharing another great room tour.

I always try to choose an aft cabin if available. I don't find the obstruction that bad on this balcony. Thanks for the tour.
It really wasn't bad. I just wanted to look down and see the wake. That's the only thing missing. I have more Aft coming up!
Looks like a really nice room, but wow - that balcony looks super dark! It's lovely to be so protected from the rain, but I do enjoy sitting in the sun a little too much for this one, I think!

Brandon, one of our favorite bartenders from the Navigator is now on the Liberty. She’s from Peru and her name is Iris who is a sweetheart and a “great” bartender. We miss her as the NV is like a second home to us. We need her back out on the west coast. 🙂

I had to go back and look at this video. Looks like one side is solid metal and the other side would open. Not even sure how you would answer this in advance... normally, I defer to a travel agent but not sure they would be able to tell you in advance either.

Nice....but this room could really use an upgrade. That couch looks too old.
The couch is the worst on Royal Caribbean right now. On the older ships it really stands out.
