I just recently did my first rental with Hertz and my VX and they honored President's Circle right away! I had to show them my status in the app and use the VX at checkout, but it all worked out right away for me, so maybe I got lucky! Great video all around Kevin. I hope y'all had an awesome trip!!

Yes sir! I booked the cheapest car I could and ended up going with a Camaro lol. They only had a few cars left when I got there and I figured I might as well ball out while in Palm Springs 🤣 @@KevinYang

Nice! Have you already been doing your research on the route? Note that you should consider Aeroplan to book SQ too (which is what I did for my recent trips), especially given the lower points requirement and 5k for a stopover!

Great video bro! However, I feel like you’re counting your “savings” twice by counting your points/miles earnings and counting your actual usage of those points/miles. I personally wouldn’t count the points as savings at the time of earning but only at the time of usage to cover the cost you would’ve otherwise paid for in cash. For example, if you counted the cost of your Hyatt hotel stay as savings because you used points BUT also counted the same points as “savings” when you earned them as Chase points, then that double counted the points.
Really looking to finally pick up the Amex Plat this year and a huge reason for that is access to the Centurion Lounge every time I fly out of Seatac, it's definitely nice! I'll most likely add my wife as an AU to get access too. Really solid 2.8 point redemption at the Hyatt Place & awesome that you were able to put that $200 Hotel Credit on the Plat to use as well.
