The pianist at my church passed away on 12 August 2023 and this song was his last performance at church. Your beautiful piece reminds me of him. May you continue to play beautiful!
My pianist passed away also, and his last song in church was lets meet by the river and he did!

This made me cry. It reminded me that I have not prayed enough to God, despite praying a lot. We still come short of God's glory. If only I could remember to bring every single thing in my life to God in prayer.
I'm a business owner, and it's been tough that covid19 gave us a hard time. Still recovering, but so thankful to God he kept us surviving.
Either way, I pray His will be done, because his plans are greater.
Kaleb, I don't know if anyone has told you this, but some soloists, as well as congregations, use your music as accompaniment. This applies to many who don't have a pianist or organist in their church.
I just stopped by for that very reason. What a BLESSING to find this for our new, small church. THANK YOU!!!

I’ve read that this song came from a Christian Irish man who immigrated to US; he lost his wife; then remarried and second wife also passed by natural causes; his mother who still lived in Ireland heartbroken by the news wrote him a letter asking how he was able to cope..his letter to her was turned into this beautiful hymn.

Thank you Kaleb, my mother passed away a few years ago and she was an amazing church organist and music teacher. I miss listening to her play hymns on her piano in the evenings. Now I listen to you and it reminds me of those blessed days.
