I'm going to have to relearn the notes to these Precious Hymnals. I got caught up in Southern Gospel and Contemporary and its more show than anything! Not Truly Sincere! A lot of SO Called Christian Music isn't from God! I've recorded in a Studio when I was 11 yrs old and there was only 8 tracks. I did with a Southern Gospel Group when I was about 29 years old. God Did Bless me with a Musical Talent But I've Misused it. It would not stand the Test of Fire! This has Humbled me!

This may sound strange to you, but I LOVE YOU BROTHER!! I grew up playing the piano and was naturally gifted, but near gave it up in high school (you know how teenagers are), and picked it back up years later in life because something was missing in my soul. When I did, I always came back to playing hymns - in a very similar style as you (although nowhere near as well composed). Somethings wrong with me though: I could NEVER play in front of people, and still to this day, I can only play by myself.. Have you ever experienced any sense of "stage fright" when it comes to playing in front of people or larger crowds? Someday I would like to play hymns like these for people... I pray maybe God can help me to do that... Anyways your incredibly soothing, sweet, and perfect compositions (in my books) of these "olde tyme" hymns have been such a blessing to me brother, so thank you, and God Bless you Kaleb - wherever you are
williamstdog9 Thank you so much! I definitely felt nervous playing in front of large groups of people for years. Piano recitals and playing specials at church made me very nervous and I'd get upset if I messed up. I eventually became more relaxed when I started playing regularly for church and realized that God just wanted me to play and worship, and both He and people were perfectly OK with it if I made a mistake here or there. I'll pray that you will be able to play for people too - I'm sure they would enjoy it!
Your spirit sounds so sweet just writing this. Play please! many people like myself always tried learning to play our himns in a piano. I used to dream playing, but I was far away from reality, I was just dreaming. Playing like this, It's a gift from GOD, imagine to be able to play like Kaleb, and you know how to! every gift from GOD has to be put back to HIS service. I just play the recorder. This is my Supernatural Testimony: In September 2019, I had a spiritual experience or vision and I was taken to a beautiful place I call the "River of Tranquil Waters" (because it reminds me of a similar place described in the Bible - read: Psalm 23, Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22). Thanks so much for sharing your God-given gift of playing the piano dear brother. I record your music and then sing the Hymn in our Philippine Cebuano dialect of which I grew up with as a Protestant. I'm 65 and still sings in the Church Choir.

No, I'm not. I am a Protestant but not an Adventist. My Church is a member of the Church of God denomination which is an Evangelical, Pentecostal church. That being said, we're probably more Reformed than Pentecostal in beliefs.
