So awesome! Just wanted to say you're the reason I bought a sewing machine and have been trying to learn! You made sewing so digestible and I loved how genuine you are when teaching :) I can't wait to make one of your pieces and show you!!! Thanks so much for your tutorials!
I've had a pile of red gingham cotton fabric in my stash waiting for the right project and when I saw this video, I knew this is what I had been waiting for! I got started on my own jumpsuit a couple of hours after the video came out and I just have just the hem on the shorts and a final pressing of the seams with my iron to do. Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am so happy with the way this project has turned out! Definitely my new go-to summer outfit. Thank you!!!
You honestly make some of the easiest to follow and calming sewing videos I've come across and it's the perfect level of not being incredibly difficult but still cute!! Keep up the good stuff :)
Very practical sewing! Love it!! I hope more beginners would watch your videos bcoz your projects are very attainable in the most practical way with no fuss, but all simplicity!! Love your videos!
Im so glad I found this channel! I just recently dug out my grandmas old sewing machine and I’ve been wanting to make some clothes but all of the tutorials on youtube seem so complicated. You explain things SO WELL and make it seem so manageable!! Thank you!!!!
Hi Maddie♥️ i just wanted to say, you are the reason sewing and clothing making have become my biggest passion! I truly and sincerely pray that Jesus blesses your business and boosts your creativity and passion x
This is absolutely crazy cute. I love the yellow and white. I'm thinking....I would like to make this except instead of a jumpsuit, I will make it a jumper. I think I would love this because I do like jumpers. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I have recently encountered your blog and I'm truly in love. I was hoping that you would make the summer essential wrap dress collab into a tutorial. You are truly doing a good job of making everything look simple!!
i started sewing last week and i love your videos!! for now i only made the bucket hat wich the pattern worked really well!! i'm obviously still learning the skills but overall my hat looks cute lol
I just made this jumpsuit and it turned out soooo beautiful! Thank you so much Maddie for sharing this tutorials with us. I might tried this jumpsuit but with a long leg for Autumn/Winter :-) And I agree with other comments, the hardest part is to cut all the pieces haha
The cutest jumpsuit! I love your channel so much. Just started one of my own and reference yours all the time when I’m trying to figure things out!! You’re amazin’!
i would loooove a video where you explain where you buy your fabrics or fabric shopping tips!! do you have any ethical fabric brands or shops you recommend?
Hi Maddy!!!! That's such a cute jumpsuit! LOVE this! so perfect for hot summer days! Thanks so much, my sewing skills are getting a little bit better and I think your vídeos are helping me a lot! :D Love from Portugal ;)
Hello Essentials club, just wanna thank you and say your videos are amazing...also can you please do a DIY for disco pants( the ones which have a bell cut at the bottom). Thank you!
I saw this video and thought it was cute but not for me. Unbeknownst to me, my husband ordered me a jumpsuit just like this! It's too big, but what a coincidence. And it IS me! I have fabric.....I'm making myself some! So cute!
Omg I love your channel so much!! In the first place it’s so aesthetic, and second you make the most amazing things! What I’m going to do now, is to start saving for a sewing machine haha 🧵 👕 👖
Agreed with Elin that thrift shops are a great source. Otherwise there's also plenty of online sources these days - I personally love thefabricstoreonline.com/ which is where I got this jumpsuit material from :)
Question!! Is there a reason you don’t just fold the fabric when cutting, and cut only two pieces for the pattern instead of four- and basically have the under arm seams instead just be the fold of the fabric- instead of the extra two seams- is there a reason that wouldn’t work?? I got a roll of some fabric from the thrift store today!! It was cheapish but very soft and thick enough for some good garmet sewing practice- I’m exited to get started on this jumpsuit as my first project for today(:!
I found your chanel today and I already did the mini wrap skirt. looking forward to doing this jumpsuit next!!! just one question: if I sew another fabric on the inside, can I make it reversible?
Hi Maddie, this the second garment I am making from your channel and I love your ideas. Keep em coming! I was wondering if you included Seam Allowance when chalking the outline of the straps up to the top of the ties? I noticed you said that it should measure an inch wide. I did notice you included 1/2" SA on the crotch part. Can you clear this up for me?
I get most of my linens from thefabricstoreonline.com/collections/linen which is where I got this yellow checkered pattern one but unsure if they still stock it x
As a beginner sewer.. DO NOT USE THIS VIDEO if you are using fabric that only has one good side.. you cannot just copy the same main panel 4 times. You have to cut different front and back pieces!!!!! Just WASTED 2.5 yards on this!!!!!!

STOP IT!! This made my day. Knowing what I put out there is helping inspire you is what keeps me going. So thank you so much for your support! x x

Hello lobe the video thinking of sewing this one question tho, is the meters for the fabric include lining?
Wondering where you buy all your beautiful fabrics
Au my God this is so much cute 😍😍 I would love to recreate this but I have no fabric stores near my house 😭😭😭
Second hand!😍
Agreed with Elin that thrift shops are a great source. Otherwise there's also plenty of online sources these days - I personally love thefabricstoreonline.com/ which is where I got this jumpsuit material from :)
Old sheets! Find a pattern you like and make it out of them!
Auu thangs ❣️❣️❣️
Love it, it’s so cute
My fabric is a little see through so I’ll probably add interfacing to the bottom part... can you give me some guidance on how I should do that?
I was thinking the exact same thing!!! Did it work to you?
I had the same question, but I think the main reason is to have the crotch, if you just fold the crotch section would be strange. (I hope it helps!)
I found your chanel today and I already did the mini wrap skirt. looking forward to doing this jumpsuit next!!! just one question: if I sew another fabric on the inside, can I make it reversible?
I LOVE THIS SO SO MUCH😍😍😍😍😍
THANK YOUUUU X X
Can I ask what your rough measurements were? I’m worried about making mine too big or small! Thanks!

I just ended up doing a super thin SA since my cotton was on the thicker side. No worries!
Oh qué lindo!! 💛💛💛
I love this! Would quilting cotton be too stiff? it's all i have in my fabric stash unfortunately
Sooo cute🥺😩🥰
can i do that but instead of a short take a skirt?
So cute 😍😍😍
Thank youuu!
whats your sewing machine model? i wanna learn how to sew and yours looks so easy to work with!
Can you please do a nicely fitted cottage dress
Hello! I’m new here! Thanks a lot for your video that motivated me. I have one question, 1 inches is 2,54 centimeters, right?
where do you buy your fabric? I’ve always wondered!!
Me gustaria que lo pudiera traducir en español gracias
Can you make a paper pattern for this?
Do some dress tutorial video plzz...its a request 🤗🤗🤗
Plenty of dress tutorials in the pipeline :) Can't wait to share!!
I would love to know where this fabric is from!
I get most of my linens from thefabricstoreonline.com/collections/linen which is where I got this yellow checkered pattern one but unsure if they still stock it x
Loved it was just amazing!
Too kind!! Thank you :)
What is the average width for off the roll?
Generally they're 1.4m wide :)
While I’m watching this I am wearing tie up jumpsuit and my name is Maddy and I’m also Australian lol
Maybe a pair of pocket would be very nice to..,,😊
Someone should diy 2020
Just throw on some random scraps of fabric and ur done lol
Omg i don't understand anything😭😭😭 because i don't speak english so much, but i wanna do it, its so nice😭😭😭
You’ve made facing not interfacing
