    I've had a pile of red gingham cotton fabric in my stash waiting for the right project and when I saw this video, I knew this is what I had been waiting for! I got started on my own jumpsuit a couple of hours after the video came out and I just have just the hem on the shorts and a final pressing of the seams with my iron to do.
    Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am so happy with the way this project has turned out! Definitely my new go-to summer outfit. Thank you!!!

    My fabric is a little see through so I’ll probably add interfacing to the bottom part... can you give me some guidance on how I should do that?

  • @jillkellogg1007
    @jillkellogg1007 3 года назад +1

    Question!! Is there a reason you don’t just fold the fabric when cutting, and cut only two pieces for the pattern instead of four- and basically have the under arm seams instead just be the fold of the fabric- instead of the extra two seams- is there a reason that wouldn’t work?? I got a roll of some fabric from the thrift store today!! It was cheapish but very soft and thick enough for some good garmet sewing practice- I’m exited to get started on this jumpsuit as my first project for today(:!

    • @negar5994

      I had the same question, but I think the main reason is to have the crotch, if you just fold the crotch section would be strange. (I hope it helps!)

    Hi Maddie, this the second garment I am making from your channel and I love your ideas. Keep em coming! I was wondering if you included Seam Allowance when chalking the outline of the straps up to the top of the ties? I noticed you said that it should measure an inch wide. I did notice you included 1/2" SA on the crotch part. Can you clear this up for me?
