My mother has this and she's desperate because of her dry eyes. We live close to the Equator and it's very windy around here. She's suffering a lot.

Have her supplement with Omega 3 fish oil, or if you can order it, a supplement called TheraTears; www.amazon.com/TheraTears-Supplement-Nutrition-Flaxseed-Triglyceride/dp/B000ES6X7W It will help her produce more tears naturally to protect her eye surface.
Also, there are preservative free eye drops, & mineral oil based eye ointments that will keep them moist. If those aren't enough, there's a prescription called Restasis that also helps you make more of your own tears.
Perhaps if she'll be outdoors, she can wear sunglasses to reduce the wind. And also look into diet; certain nutrients help with dry eye www.healthline.com/health/dry-eye/treating-chronic-dry-eye/nutritional-guide . Lastly, make sure she's drinking enough water.
I hope that helps your mother.

Menopause can be a factor for the 40+ crowd.

      2 things...
A nice pair of wrap around sunglasses will help with the wind.
Organic Castor Oil (hexane free) a drop in each eye before bedtime helps a lot with the dryness.

What to do for light glare so bad i cannot drive at night 😫

    • @theresasmith1
      @theresasmith1 3 года назад

@A BCD nope . I had my newly bought glasses redone . It was glaring all lights in every direction. I received them back a bit better but still not safe to drive in any town or city . Now with covid issues haven't seen my specialist in over 1.5 years. There's no cure and i don't want to lose my lisence if i cannot see at night . Plus i take migrane meds as it made extra tissue in the back of the eye. No fun.

How old is this video? You should not use tea tree shampoo on your eyes. There is proper wipes now. Think the woman should show some sympathy for people. All this information is out of date .

@@Chad123x oh I learned awhile ago that using baby shampoo was a no-go for me. I haven’t actually tried tea tree oil, but I kept meaning to because it was suggested quite a bit and by a couple different people.

All done through diet changes and lowering body inflammation. I cut all ultra processed foods. Eat 30 plus different plants a week plus have goat kefir and sauerkraut. I also follow glucose hacks

She speaks as if she is not qualified to be giving this talk.

This woman's snark and downright nasty comments is beyond insulting, it's indicative of her shallowness and lack of compassion for humanity. If she's a medical professional of any title, she's a very poor member. I can the saying..."Physician, heal thyself" really should apply to her? HA!

I found the info in this video very helpful to me, I have rosacea and ocular... I am happy to have found this vid. In no way was the speaker "shallow or snarky" she simply delivered the information straight and to the point.

    • @steverosse

I don't know what video jsbach15 was watching, but it wasn't this one. This woman is not thrilling, but she's informative and organized and not "snarky or shallow" at all. I think better treatments have come along in the years since this video was made (Soolantra works great for me), but that's not a reflection on the presenter. And of course if she was giving this talk today, among her celebrities with rosacea would be Steve Bannon.
