Can we please just take a moment to appreciate Edwin's cinematography. There are few channels that put this much effort into every upload. I doubt most people understand how long it takes to setup every shot. The beauty's, pans, push in's, time lapse's, the MOVING time lapses, slow mo, the action shots etc etc... And then add audio, multiple angles and editing. I just really appreciate this channel. Thank you guys. Ethan gets down in the shop too. Fab god.

Drone Tip: Put some 'Conformal Coating' on the electronics of it so if you crash in the snow the heat won't melt it and fry the FC, esc's, VTX etc.. don't worry about the motors & don't get any in usb connections or on any buttons. ..And don't run your batteries so low!! lol, not good for them, they won't last. Good work tho! Stoked on everything you guys do and pumped you got a racing drone! I've been flying them for years and with your filming skills you'll be able to get shots 'regular' drones could never get.

John Josephson we use a gear hob on a live tool CNC lathe. It allows a lathe to do mill work. You can turn diameters and then mill flats, drill side holes or cut gear teeth. There are many other ways to cut gears but this is the how we do it.

There should be a removable metal wear bar on the bottom of the ski,,, weld on a tri-corner file to that bar at the balance point for steering on ice or hard pack snow... I used one on the inside ski when racing in the early 70s and on both for my regular sled.

Use the tail stock in the lathe with a rotating centre (on shelf) to support tap while tapping in lathe keeps it square. Use handle of tap holder against the bed with a wood cushion and avoid using hands. Updated lathe full geared head loads of torque no belts scary if you don't know what your doing under power so don't so this! Neutral gear use chuck key as handle to pull chuck manually. Remember use tail stock with rotating centre for tap support applying light pressure on tail stock handle/spindle pushing tap into job firmly and square while manually rotating chuck with chuck key.

The proof of an excellent "adapter" (and for like anything) ... IS .. you do not have to modify EITHER item you are adapting! ... So YOURS is in effect perfect. If you have break down, you can use stock parts on either side of the adapter to repair it! ...EXCELENT JOB !!!
