    Great looking fly, thank you for sharing. One thing I really like about this is the options you have for many different sizes. I’d think it would be very versatile. God bless.

    Wow. That’s awesome. I’m a commercial tier in Michigan. That’s great. Thanks so much.

    That feather you made the tail from is a Golden Pheasant tippet. Nice easy fly. Keep the good stuff coming.

      Yea, the crayfish was a fun fly. I went through several versions before I came up with this pattern. One time I almost had a big brown trout jump on the bank trying to get it.

    Excellent! I will DEFINITELY use. Have you tried a dubbing loop vs dumbing noodle? Either should work on the dubbing head. Well done. 👍🏻

      I've used the loop before. It works better than the noodle, I'm usually just too lazy.

    Please can someone explain; why do we use a dubbing tool at all. The last 3 videos I watched all used dubbing but no dubbing tool. Seems that it is more precise when no dubbing tool is used. Hope I didn't waste 20.00 on 3 different dubbing tools. I've used all 3 and I have no preference. Please someone explain

      Normally, I don;t use a dubbing tool. It takes to much time and is not necessary. A dubbing nuddle usually works just fine. But, what do I know, every one has their own preference.

    Awesome looking jig man. I have a question maybe you can answer for me. with all the weight on the top side of that jig, when you put it in the water won't it settle on the bottom placing it upside down with the hook facing up?

      @Callaweginflyfishing  Год назад

      Not sure, I usually keep it moving, so I think that will keep it upright.

      @@Callaweginflyfishing when I make a jig I always test in a aquarium or clear container just to see it in action.

    Would you show what your getting your dubbing from?

    • @Callaweginflyfishing
      @Callaweginflyfishing  Год назад

      I'll try to remember to do that. That dubbing came from a box of several colors that I got from Bass Pro Shop.

    Have you ever tried this fly on red ears? I bet it would work.

      Not yet. I know of a lake that has a fair population of Red Ears. I plan on trying it out there soon. Thanks.
