I love how some chatters said "I don't think he cheated". Bruh, the odds of a 1300 beating a 2700 fair and square is 0%. Even a 1300 beating a 2000 would be very uncommon.
There are some higher rated players whose rating is going up and down for some reason and I've beaten one of such 2000's - me as a 1100 who doesn't play rated games. So ratings are overrated. ;-) But of course, this game was not such case and it was kind of obvious that the guy was cheating. He even closed his account right after the game with Ben so that you can't report him.
Is it sus that the guy hung his pieces, left for a minute and came back great? Yes. Is it weird his choices for check and refusal to trade queens on his way to mate? Also yes. But are we sure he was cheating with beads? Definitely yes
Yeah, if Ben was sitting at that guy's home and played with him over the board in a tournament instead of playing online random games for entertainment
The cheater realized once the position worked itself to Mate in 2 how suspicious the game was going to look and instead chose the 4th best move to keep the game going. Believing he somehow found and perfectly executed a brilliant seven-move combination (19-25) but somehow could NOT find the forced Mate in 2 (or the forced Mate in 6) at the end of the line is too much of a stretch. He was clearly cheating, and he self-closed his account immediately after the game, presumably so he could open a new account without the Fair Play Policy Violation attached to his IP or email address.
These moves weren't even that tough to find, especially the obvious Re6+ fxe6 Qg6# instead of Qxf3. And still cheated, terrible. Go Ben! And also Karen!
What's the accent the woman is speaking in. I'd really like to know. (I am not from the US and have no "ear" for the different regional accents). But I find this one really interesting. Can somebody help me?
You are "Thelogicman"? I checked every move along with the time stamps, and it seems pretty clear you used an engine the whole game and just selected the ~3rd best move early on before selecting the top moves entirely (until your cheating created a position where mate in 2 was on the board, and you spent 30 seconds debating if you should execute it or play the fourth best move, Qxf3, to keep the game going). The only move by White that wasn't an engine move was Ne4, which I assume is because you misread the notation that suggested Re4. Cheating for even a single move is cheating, and I do not follow your rationale at all that you did so to 'make it even'. A game between an amateur and a professional should never be even. I assume you are a child, so in my sternest dad voice I'll just say, "Do not do it again!"
You shouldn't give them any attention. I am unsubscribing for 24hours. I only now realize this was your stream you don't control what happens. Sorry blundered GM finegold. My mistake. And I apologize for being mean. I shouldn't be telling limey brits to eat cake...
Ben should've forfeit his stream and not speak about it for a week, leaving to the crowd the insinuation that there was a cheat somehow.
Yeah, because random player cheating online is same as World Champion being sus about other grandmaster in a major tournament.
@@joelpenley9791 so streamers online aren't allowed to act like idiots, but world chess champions in the mist prestigious tournaments are?

I'm 1400 and my best upset was checkmating a 1900. But I'm 99% sure he mouseslipped and I just hung on for dear life.
@@VitoPlaysGames Exactly. Uncommon, so 1300 vs 2700 is just impossible Even with queen odds actually I think the 2700 win every time.
I hope this is sarcasm, given how Ben deliberately played like complete shit for the whole game.
@@ravecrab That's the point. he can sack queen move 3 and do whatever and still beat every 1300 on earth. That's why this one is cheating ;)

Love when people using engines take 4+ seconds to find obvious continuations
Watching stockfish against GMs probobly best type of videos to watch ever
I'm glad he cheated, i like watching stockfish vs GM battles. It's a lot of fun.
Lol same
"Thelogicman closed their own account on Sep 11, 2022." 🤔
An inside job you say
Never forget
More evidence that 9/11 was an inside job

Stockfish is so good that’s it’s starting to miss mate in two just for content
Ben seems to have lost a lot of weight
Good for him
This guy's engine missed like 20 different mates
Engine cheaters never think to not use the same amount of time for each move.
Thx for the trigger warning. Chess ate my baby dingo.
Ben don't forget about when he's Newman's voice in the first season!
Lol I skipped ahead and was like “yh if he plays knight E8 no chance..” bruh.
Larry David was also in the late-night Sci-Fi movie when Jerry couldn't remember the funny joke he wrote down in the night (my favourite).
You can't just claim the guy cheated, when you have zero proof.
Maybe this morning he miraculously prepared this line.
You owe the guy an apology.

@@NJ-wb1cz Thanks for explaining the joke to us.
Terrible game by Ben. At 6:03, Re6 for white was the winning move. Nobody saw it. A cheater aided by a computer wouldn't have missed it.

i love the "active king" comment in chat
Using an engine was bad, but the worst part was the stream sniping.

Georgia.
Remember Ben moved to Atlanta after the St.-Louis Chess Club ?
Yeah it's definitely a southern accent
I also lose only to cheaters...
Active king in the first game.
you took that well ,i give up chess forever every time that happens me about once a day 😐

Who else saw Rook e6 before he said it
Ben played terrible here as well
Certainly an interesting start!
Underage girlfriend? Should we call the cops?
Ben's son is such a copy of him it's hilarious
I actually saw rook e6. I feel good now.
Also, sucks man sorry someone cheated you. What is the motivation for this? Pop people's balloons? What a waste
I saw Re6, I am only 1400... lols... Strange that a GM missed Re6...
It was me. I only used the engine for a few moves to make it even.
