Lovely and yes, it did make me smile if perhaps only internally. Watching you work and hearing your narrative was mesmerizing in the best possible way. Thanks for sharing your talent and philosophy.

That is SOOO good - I'm absolutely amazed at how this painting turned out.
Your storytelling as you paint is engaging and soothing at the same time...

I've just embarked on my traditional media journey at the age of 47. I've been a photographer, digital creative and interface designer for 30 years.
I'm also a new father and this morning I laid out an A3 sheet of tissue paper and sat with my 3 year old daughter with the intent of making some mindful marks before taking her to school.
My attempts were terrible. I fought my conditioning every line I drew then just sat back and watched in awe as she scribbled the most beautiful, free scribbles.
I pray she keeps that in some way throughout her life and never conforms to anything in a box. She's the beauty and freedom of abstract art personified.
Thank you for the lovely video.

Green, orange, violette they belong together as secondary colourpalette. I love them. It took long time to find my own personal colour palette. In this free work from you in this video you show your favorite colours. Love it.❤❤❤❤ with my colour palette I paint all. Portraits, landscapes, animals, abstracts...

I so enjoyed watching your process of building or creating your abstract. You encouraged the freedom of creating or just flowing with whatever you drew. It made me want to draw as I was watching.!

Hello Robert, I have just started painting in Acrylic’s and really loved this video. Can you tell me what canvas you are painting on? Did you prepare with Gesso? Any advice would be a great help.

An underwhelming misunderstanding of what abstract art is. Abstraction of what SUBJECT material? Where is the observation of the non-abstract material to work from? No art education here. Spectacular doodles. I used to get my students to do doodles on the first page of their new sketchbooks to get over clean page fright. Rename your work.

      Hi,
Anything we paint comes from millions of pieces of information that is in our heads. That is SUBJECT matter.
Why not elaborate instead of berate, educate.
Though this particular piece doesn't speak to me personally, it does to others.
I feel too many people either consider themselves artists without reason or art itself is taken too seriously. Neither side helps. If you feel art is almost threanened by the words he put to his art, I only get to wonder how you look upon AI being seen as art.
So would you please explain why this is not to be seen as abstract art.
      Have a lovely day.
