- Manchester's Arndale Market, a place that wasn't really on anyone's radar a few years ago, but now has a reputation for being one of the city's best spots to grab lunch. This is all down to a surge of contemporary street food traders that are doing amazing things from their small spaces.
What we ate in this episode...
Viet Shack: Lemongrass Chicken Burger (£4)
Salt & Pepper: Salt & Pepper Chicken + Chips (£6)
Wholesome Junkies: Kentucky Fried Cauliflower Burger (£6.50)
Holy Crab: 3 Lindisfarne Oysters (£7)
Blue Caribou: La Classique Poutine (£5.50)
Pancho's Burritos: Pork Chipotle Burrito (£6.80) - Развлечения
Thanks - although I was born in Manchester, ive been away most of life, I'm starting to work back there and these videos help. 🐝
fantastic travelling down 8th November from South Shields and would never have looked at these places. The food looks awesome and given us a little something extra to look forward to. Thanks for the straight forward review and helping us find great places to have a lunchtime treat. awesome !
My friend and I will be relocating to Manchester in 2024 so your channel will be our go to for ideas of what to do in the city. Thank you ❤

Your not lying the green Thai is the best
RIP Holy Crab and Blue Caribou - went last month and security guard said they had closed down. Sad cause they were two of my top picks from this video. Salt & Pepper were top notch though
This is such a good review video! It gave me such good inspiration!
Love this feature! Happy to report I’ve eaten at all but two of those places and all meals have been top notch! Poutine will be my next stop for sure!
Are they expensive food
Salt and pepper is my fave!! Need to try the others 😍
I anticipate moving to Manchester in the spring to open my new corporate offices at Media City ... super happy to be a new subscriber!
Awesome review, I’m heading to Manchester next week and definitely trying a couple of this places to eat ❤️
My Dad was born in Harpurhey so i love Manc, Great to see the food on offer, Liked and subbed! 👌
Great video, thanks mate. I can't wait to get into that grub in 2 weeks!
thanks mate, been looking for something more on the budget side
All looks amazing 😀
Great episode
i just can't get on board with poutine. its not substantial enough to be a main meal and is too damn expensive for what it is. if they gave me a chippy size portion then possibly
Loved your video, thanks for posting
These are our favourite comments 😁
I live in city centre, Manchester, and i'g gonna be having a bash at some of those next week!

Oh man I moved to Hong Kong nearly 4 years ago and I miss going to Viet Shack!
It’s not as nice as it used to be hope that helps lol
@@cutemaleekahandkayaananddad it’s disgusting
@@Ben-ks5bm what did you get from there? I only usually got quack fries
Good host
👍🏻
Pam his is elite❤
The Mexican guy sold him 3 items at once 😭😂😂👍👍
Subbed
Hong Thai is the best in Arndale
Crikey they've upgraded Arndale Market since I was a kid
Haha I remember the markets you are talking about but yes all done up has been for about 10-15 years now
Remember to drop your T's if you want to sound like Manc, except when you forget (eye roll). As for the food in this place, yes it's generally good and fairly priced.
😛❤😛❤👌👍
dude, you ate all of that in a day?
yum yum chicken
Didn't know Maisie Williams was Vegan
£7 is not cheap
Where would you go to in Manchester for a good sit down meal that's as good and costs less?
It isn’t, but in cities it is
It is for a city centre
It's not in India granted
You make my day 😂😂❤
Looks nice food but the place is too congested with too few places to sit.
With this inflation I don’t think it’s under £7 anymore lol 😂. Its probably under £20😂😂😂
Blue caribou closed down
For 7 pound you can buy a fresh whole chicken from the butchers lol
Would try the oysters and the vegan stall on the one time tho as I've never tried em b4
The time to cook? Energy costs?
@@cutemaleekahandkayaananddad lol
Come on bro. Your tryna tell me you want a wife who's ordering from outside all the time lol
You can't be that cheap your scared off paying the bills.
The time too cook.
It's part of the experience. It's why some people call it soul food.
Energy costs
That's life brodie. And it's such sacrifices that makes dinner with the family as handcooked memorable
@@learnings7435 these places are mainly there for people to eat on their dinner breaks and for shoppers, you aren't gonna go home on ya dinner and cook a chicken.

£6.50 for some cauliflower......vegan my ass!!! Absolute daylight robbery.
No butchers now
Too expensive
Me: hmm yes very useful fact to know.....
