- I thought this week I'd do something a little different, and I'd explain just how it is I make my videos.
Additional bits and pieces:
Camera is at 24fps, shutter speed 1/50, f/4 (or whatever makes the shot work)

Great video and channel Paul! As a web designer with a filmmaking related youtube channel myself this video was interesting to me. I'm sure if we ever found ourselves stuck in a lift or some other bizarre scenario, we would not be short of conversation topics 😂

Thumbs up for using Davinci Resolve :D The free version is more than enough for most people, and the price of the full version isn't through the roof.

Without seeing the Enceladus pic yet, it might be too grey and disappear in the background. The Mars red adds a nice pop of colour to the background. Again another great video, and good tips a someone starting at editing video. Keep up the good work!
And now a more personal video like where do you live, are you living alone in that house and when was the last time you weared another hairstyle?

DaVinci, premiere pro, final cut. What is your video editor of choice and what led you do da vinci?
Of choice? Premiere or Davinci. But Davinci is readily available without an ongoing subscription and when I started doing this I was hoping to keep costs down. I still am :)
That's a good consideration while choosing . I heard final cut has faster render times but it's Mac only and paying for premiere and after effects is a bit too much to shell on a monthly basis. I'm gonna give a DaVinci a shot! Your videos are amazing! Keep up the hustle!
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Definitely give it a go, and check out RUclips for some tutorials. There are definitely quirks, but it's solid.

Bravo. I faked it. In that shot is actually a 450D (mine, which does not do video), and my brother's 700D is in my hands. A necessary fiction for this particular video. Though if the light was good I could have used my Pixel 2.
