    In the star guardian video with xayah and rakan, they were "corrupted" by the evil girl (Zoe) in that video. The girl with the tail (Neeko) was trying to escape before they corrupted her too. Which was why at the end she was happy to see the girl with the fox tails who broke through the wall to her rescue (Ahri).
    In everything goes on, xayah has been saved and rakan is still corrupted because he sacrificed himself for her. Which is why she's devastated in that video.

    The last video shows how Xayah and Rakan look in the main world of Runeterra rather than in the Star Guardians storyline and I would add that if you enjoy lovers banter you might want to listen to their combined voice lines because they talk to each other when two people are playing them in game.
    Everyone has reacted to Necrit's "The world of Riot's MMO is already done" video as well as his history of Runeterra video. He doesn't really mind and they are extensive introductions to the lore of the world done really well. Probably the best introduction to the main lore you can get.

    the star gradian is the alternate universe (which become skin lines in the game). The last video you watched was when those two ,xayah and rakan, where released. aka the originals.

      Fun fact xayah and rakan are the only champions to be released at the same time. There are other "paired" champions (kha'zix and rengar) (Anivia, Ornn And Volibear) (Pantheon And Aatrox) ect. , but all paired lore wise later after they came out.

      Honestly, why not just read the lore, comics and all that on the website? Much easier than getting second hand information, and Necrit is just taking it all from this exact same website.

    • @CZ2_Delta
      @CZ2_Delta 3 месяца назад +3

      @@Serryy Of course reading the original content is always better. But it's so big and without order that most people would get lost or overwhelmed. Necrit offers a great easily accessible TLDR of most of the Lore of LoL. He also knows a lot more than your average Lore fan, so he can tell you what you missed etc.

    • @Serryy
      @Serryy 3 месяца назад +3

      @@CZ2_Delta I dont know if it really is all that confusing. If you choose a starting point, for example a region like Piltover&Zaun, and you just get through that content, you will inevitably see references to events that happened in the world or other characters. And then you jump to those. Never had an issue that way.

    the star guardians in light and shadow was suppose to be the original team. Ahri, Xayah, Rakan, Neeko ( the one being chase ), and Miss fortune ( the orange one in New Horizon ). But then Zoe ( The evil girl in light and shadow) started to corrupt them and she did with xayah and rakan while neeko escaped. Everyone thought they kill neeko but she escaped. Zoe resurrect xayah and rakan to be corrupted star guardian thats why their colors was darker than the others.
    In the new horizon, the gems that was ahri holding was neeko, xayah and rakan's. She thinks she failed them so when she found out they are still alive, she quickly travel there without telling to her new teams.

    Hey, ty for shoutout.
    I don't know the lore fully, but I've been around for every event. What i know:
    Star Guardian Lux was a "magical girl" skin for the Champion Lux (She is the leader of the team in Burning Bright) in 2015. The skin was bright neon pink and super showy in-game. It was Lux's largest hit skin at the time.
    The year later, they had their first Star Guardian event where they released the first team with Lux as its leader. The Champions Jinx, Lulu, Poppy, and Janna got Star Guardian skins and are the team in Burning Bright. The skins were once again a hit. They started creating lore for the Star Guardian universe.
    When the second Star Guardian event was released in 2018, the lore had established that there were many Star Guardian teams stationed around...the universe? Not sure. But the second team was revealed being the Champions Ahri, Miss Fortune, Soraka, Syndra and Ezreal. The team leader Ahri in A New Horizon holds three stars in her hand. These represent the 3 previous teammates that she had lost.
    In 2019, was the next Star Guardian event. It was then revealed that the three stars, and previous teammates to Ahri, were the Champions Xayah, Rakan, and Neeko. In "Light and Shadow" the evil primordial and possibly original Guardian, the Champion Zoe, has corrupted Xayah and Rakan into her service to capture the not yet corrupted Neeko. I believe Rakan reluctantly followed Xayah down this dark path because he would follow her wherever. Also, you can see that he takes on her corruption into himself.
    This leads into Xayah's tragedy depicted in "Everything Goes On" during the 2022 event along with a friendship story between the Champions Akali and Kaisa seen in both "Everything Goes On" and "Shadow of a Doubt."
    The universe and lore is completely fleshed out. There is a whole portal into the Star Guardian universe in the LOL lore. In all these years there have been novelettes, stories, comics depicting the stories and strife of the Star Guardian teams. universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/star-guardian/
    Honestly my knowledge of cinematics doesn't go far past 2023 aside from the most famous. There might be new stuff that wasn't on the list. Necrit is considered the authority on detailed lore explanations. TY for your work!

    I recommend reacting to Necrit's vids about league (even Star Guardian) it's a pretty cool way to getting to know stuff :D
    Imo you can simply react to it, as you won't be "stealing" views, if you're worried about it, as we all have already watched his stuff plenty of times xD

    So, my main recommendation, for private or a reaction, is T B Skyen's video on Light and Shadow. Not only does he does AMAZING video essays on the art and direction and technical knowhow of those League cinematics, but he dives deep into many of the meanings and emotions displayed in those stories.

    Honestly, if I had to choose any alternate universe in League to get a tv show, it would be Star Guardian. I know, i know, a lot of it is just generic Sailor Moon magical girl anime, but the characters in that universe are the best developed and if youre smart about it, then you can play around with a lot of these typical anime tropes.

    You know what, I'll chose violence again. This is from the novel, the part where Rakan took all of Xayah's corruption
    ---
    “You fought back.” He choked on a laugh. “I am so, so proud of you... And I’m going to save you.”
    Xayah’s smile faltered and then vanished. She tried to pull away from Rakan.
    “No!” she screamed, but Rakan held tight.
    “Come on, love. You know how this story goes.” Where Rakan’s hands met Xayah’s, a soft golden light began to build.
    “No, no, no-” Xayah begged.
    “The prince has to save the princess. Those are the rules.”

    These videos introduce new skins for league champions, so you wont be seeing too many of the same character in the early videos. I believe the later videos were related to events, so they tell a bit more of the story.
    Also, Necrit wouldn't mind if you react to his content, lots of people have in the past and he's even included them in his videos. (specifically asmongold) If you feel weird about it, you could always edit the video so it's not showing the whole thing. ruclips.net/video/sUi1FPx3GC4/видео.html This video (12 minutes long) should give you a pretty good grasp of the lore from the cinematics. There's also a 9 minute video ruclips.net/video/uMaLVDlb0TY/видео.html that explains the shadow video.

    16:13 Dude, I would HIGHLY suggest you get a basic set of knowledge about the Star Guardians and then rewatch all of the cinematics in order again. Once you have a feel for who is who and why they are who they are, the videos mean a LOT more.
    I still tear up at Everything Goes On, and I long ago lost count of how many times I've watched it. Xayah's torment and yearning for relief is utterly heartwrenching. And, Kai'sa's loss from separating from her "definitely just a friend" is portrayed beautifully.
