@carrikerchronicles90 I think the 105 roster will be tweaked as with the playoffs and conferences championships, but I'm more concerned about significant contributions than starting statuses. 7-6 is heading in the right direction but everyone needs to up their game at 7-6. from the laundry guys to Matt Rhule and CO
Yes, we will have more than 16 transfer additions, there is also the spring portal left where we can add a few players. Biggest portal transfer, maybe not this year but if he stays here, Hardley Gilmore, will make all husker fans "happy Gilmore's"
Yes we will have the largest transfer portal class. Dane Key is my biggest portal player. Notre Dame. I think we feel our upcoming OL players might be developed enough to have an increased level of play and the portal is just for depth.
That IS a nice shirt. Congrats on a successful closet-hunt. (with the move, i imagine you're still finding surprising things in surprising places) Go Big Red!
1. Yes 2. Dane Key. Hopefully he and Barney (and other receivers step up) and can be dynamic reliable targets for Raiola to complement the run game. 3. Culture and toughness is prefferred. - just my opinion 4. I honestly am not sure. It seemed to me Nebraska has not had an offensive identity for the last several years (back to 2020 and probably prior - hard to think back that far while typing this) I also wonder if Nebraska's last 1k yard season rusher being Ozigbo, which I believe was before 2020, could be a factor...
The playoff system makes all those stats against Ohio State irrelevant... The point of having a playoff system is to see who can survive the gauntlet. GBR!
Adam, I know you love the old system but if you really think about it we were never crowning the best team. We were crowning the team who could go undefeated. Sometimes they were the same, but not always. Teams evolve and devolve over 4 months and it always bugged me that we wrote teams off because of a loss or two. If you believe the best record equals the best team I can’t argue but I believe it’s more nuanced than that.
I get that. I just like what was unique about college football, it's what made it special. IMO, they're just trying to make it like every other sport now.
Inside out. OL is in high demand especially OT. Lots of competition for talent. Important to get those big frame, gangly, Nebraska farm boys and develop them as much as possible.
Marcus Davila might end up being the most important addition- heaven forbid, if something happens to Dylan. ND had the easiest avenue to the championship game. Why Georgia was allowed to participate after their starting QB went out to injury is a mystery. I think you build your program however you need to.
Why is NU struggling with O-Line? Dominic is the reason. His first class was handed to him. Already committed and it in state. So jury is still out. Then he pulls in 3 guys I like, the rest will transfer in the spring. But we have seen top 50 overall OT’s visit and then go elsewhere the last two classes. And he is even missing out on the best Polynesian lineman. Can he recruit at a high level every year.
Hey Adam, Husker max is my primary Husker portal. And I’ve got to tell you I’m sick of reading about this TE recruit and that TE recruit. My God we have enough have enough TE recruits for two teams! Whomever is recruiting all these TE needs to stop it and help recruit some top OL!! Until that happens Nebraska will continue to be a bowling and volleyball school.
Alot of cool-aid being drunk about key & gilmore. They got told to hit the portal for a reason. Key is descent, drops alooot of passes, has ave speed, not good run blocker. Gilmore is listed at 173 but he prob 160lbs less. Thats the reason he spent most of the season hurt cause his 160lb frame got his head taken off everytime he got hit. He has good speed & seems agile but no height or size. Hes also got arrested twice in lexington in 2 years. He also hasnt done much of anything its all hype...dont drink too much cool-aid especially on the coach that got ran put of town, bolted b4 he got fired....i guess if a 7-6 record is the first winning season since 2016, i can see why theres optimism.
I hate espn for not televising all of this football playoff, I think it will end college football as we know it as the big draw to it is we can watch it, and if we cant well... how many people can afford 165 a month for cable tv, and i think espn costs more than that to add on, this is just stupid, why not air it nationally and get all the add revenu....I simply do not get it, why would they do that
I think that, like me, he can't afford to waste money on ESPN and so couldn't watch the playoffs at home. There are lots of others out there in the same situation, and and so that probably isn't good for college football in the long run.
I believe about half of our starters next season will come from the Portal. Do you agree? CarrikerChronicles.com
@@carrikerchronicles90 I say 10. 3 on offense and 5 on defense, plus the punter and long snapper
@@flounderpounder5839May be right.

Adam, I look forward to your upcoming content. You're a great source of information. Keep it going! GBR!
Appreciate it. Gonna be a great off-season.
The main thing NU can learn from both OSU and ND is to have Raiola run with the football!

💪💪
Yes 17 transfers. Dane, WR from Kentucky. Notre dame. Coach Raiola
Favorite husker coverage right here
Rhule said himself it might be harder to win a Big Ten Championship than it is to win a National Championship.
He might be right.
1. Yes
2. Dane Key
3. Ohio State
4. Donovan Raiola
I agree on all fronts.

We need kick returners? How bout fastest player in team. Can take and give a hit. Haarberg?
Don't hate it at all, good idea.
1) Yes, 2) Dane, 3) Ohio State - we lose the players we recruit, 4) Must have more competition or maybe fewer good prospects
2. punt returner db 4. spring addition OL will put us over 17
That IS a nice shirt. Congrats on a successful closet-hunt. (with the move, i imagine you're still finding surprising things in surprising places) Go Big Red!
I am lol
Yes
Long snapper
Build inside out
No answer on o line
👍👍
Yes
One of the new recievers key or hunter
Notre Dame for sure
Not able to promise what the player is wanting is my guess
I agree on all counts.

yes, kay, nd, don't know

Yes, Kane, ND,

How about a show with conner and Justin
I’ve done it before, would definitely do it again.

No Ohio State can thak the reffs with the no call at the end.
Husker wrestling

I lost all respect for Ryan Day after watching him throw horrible temper tantrum when Nebraska was kicking the crud out of them.
GBR
Lets go independent like ND 😂 that way when we do win a Natty again we get all 20 million for Nil 😂. Relax im not serious
Sounds good!
