A couple and their friends organized it with Allan Ginsberg, Moby Grape and Grateful Dead performing. Swami Bhaktivedanta came on stage and chanted the maha-mantra Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare that night. The movement is meant to bring about a spiritual cleanse and new life revolutionary medicinein the hearts of all. This chanting in congregation cleanses the dirt from the mirror of the heart, extinguishes the burning fire of material existence. It is full of bliss.
