Good to see you used the Dji Osmo Pocket for a wedding. Future reference if you intend on shooting to slow down your footage, shoot in 4k 60fps with double the shutter speed to have smooth results then slow it down 40% on your editor, If you don't have your correct settings it doesn't matter how you slow it down it will look "choppy/unprofessional". The 1080p slow motion can be good as well but you need to have our correct shutter speed which would be 1/120 to have it correct to slow down later in post. Great attempt thought, once you fix those things your videos will look better.
I just looked it up, and it appears that the pocket 3 has 48 fps in pretty much all resolutions. I would just leave it on that most of the time. Would work great for real time OR half speed.
Yeah, looks like a mix. I have a fixed 12mm for my Panasonic (24mm equivalent) and it looks VERY close to the scenes actually taken with the Pocket 3, but yes there seem to be several scenes with another camera. In any case, no serious videographer comes with a single camera... so no surprises here.
(Love the video and color) Great video, it just go show you do not need a big production camera to get a great image, Thanks for sharing. (using 30fps may reduce the jitter when panning or slow down the panning speed.)
Hi as mentioned before almost entire footage was shoot with 24 fps .Only little part was done in 120fps . Thank you

The video is cool. You have great skills. But the picture quality comes nowhere near my A7SIII. On some angles you see how her face is smaller because of the wide lense the osmo has. I would only use it for B-Rolls but not for A class videos during a wedding.
@ Thank you for your comments. It is obvious you can not compare this pocket little cam with full frame A7R , S series etc. On the end this is not pro cam and this video wos shot just to show some posibilities of this device. Thank you again . Best rgds
This is awesome, I'm impressed with the quality you were able to deliver. I' m pretty sure I won't be able to do something that cool even using the same device :)
Hi , almost entire video ws shoot with 4K/24 fps. The only slow motion with 4K/120 fps was shoot from 1:42 - 1:46 ( Bridal arty walking ) The rest was slowed in post processing from 24fps what is not bad. Slow Mo mode is disappointing cos apply auto colors , so you can't shoot in D-Log what is also downside . Thank u
add optical flow frame interpolation, either in adobe or DaVinci it will significantly smooth out slow mo shots when I forget or can't shoot higher frame rates @@peterbellphotography
Is this a real wedding shooting or just promoting the Pocket 3 camera 😂😂 Anyway, am surprised by the background Korean song, indeed makes the whole wedding vibe to another level 👍🏼
Hi I m not promoting Pocket 3 . This video is not sponsored by DJI or any other related company. The footage has been taken during the wedding session for little test . I like this song . Thank you for your comment.
This is my dream as well :-) Unfortunately it is not that easy . Pocket 3 might be useful device in certain situations , however I would not use it instead pro gear . Thank you Regards
0:48 could you please clarify what camera did you use for this scene? I’m sure 100% Osmo pocket doesn’t have such a depth of field when zoomed in. But color grading is really beautiful
I had no time to play with all the features and settings during the wedding , so AF & full auto settings with D Log .Just my Lut added on adjustment layer . Thank you .Rgds
It is just zoom crop with black mist filter on and my LUT added . It just came up lik this . It was not intentionally setup . As I mentioned it was just test of this device as I was wonder myself how it works compering to Pocket 2 .
looks impressive, I was just looking for such a video from a camera professional, tell me what is better for a beginner to take for filming weddings and various events canon r50 Canon + 18-45mm + gimbal or pocket 3?
In my opinion Pocket 3 can be use as emergency tool . As you see wedding highlight can be done with OP 3 and quality is acceptable ... It is great 1 inch sensor vlogging and travel camera but I would not replace my pro gear for Pocket 3 for working events or weddings for many reasons. I presume Canon with gimbal gives you more possibilities ... (like different lenses option...etc) 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM is not great lens to be honest , so I would think about prime lens like Sigma 16 mm f 1.4 or 30 mm f 1.4 or 58 mm 1.4 ( approx €400 new ) which will work well also in low light condition what is important during indoor shooting. However please search for Canon R50 reviews to find out more as I am not in "Canon Team " Kind Regards
Thanks for sharing. May i know what's your audio setting when you filmed this? I also filmed a wedding recently with audio straight out of camera, it gets kind of noisy... So i was wondering whether you experienced the same issue. Thank you.
Hi , It was just test footage of DJI Pocket 3 , so I did not pay attencion to audio settings. It was just auto settings with internal mic only. I have noyt use external mic yet , however I will do another Wedding Clip with propper video settings and extarnal mic for another test purposes.
Noticeable stutter on your slow-mo. If you'd shot at 48fps you could have slowed it to 24 fps which would have looked slow AND smooth. Some nice moments nonetheless and I'm sure your client was happy with the results?
Thank you for your advice. As I mentioned it was only test done during the wedding session , so we were focused on our regular gear not much on Pocket 3 settings . I was not very impressed with 120fps slow mo mode myself...so using Pocket 3 I would not use slow mo 120fps but shot in 48 fps as you advice . The other downside is when shoting in slow mo mode D log mode is not available , the same in when shoting l in low light mode. Thank you for your comment . Kind Regards
@peterbellphotography Hello! I am an op3 and Sony user, the images of the user video that you uploaded are from op3, but the ones that start at minute 00:50 give me many doubts. Because the shot you are showing is a closer shot than what the op3 can offer then you must have zoomed internally or in editing, if you do that the sharpness will be affected and in these images you cannot see that the sharpness has been affected, then you make me doubt that these images are not from op3, I would really like to know how you did it so that the image looks clear in a closed shot. I await your response!
I have no intention to promote any way OP3.I bought this device and this video is not sponsored by DJI or any related company. I am not even youtuber or vlogger ,so have no interest to get likes or subscribers therefore I have no reason to lie to viewers. I just wanted to share my experience with OP3 . It was just test of this little device , that's all. I have not done anything special during the editing process and color grading beside some slow downs , zoom crops and my own Lut . You probably know that light conditions has huge impact on footage quality. If you look at the black & white footage on the end of the clip which was shot in very bad light condition you can see grain & noise the same sharpness is lower. Perhaps I will do another test during the wedding in the future . Please look around and you will see unbelievable quality OP3 footage presented on many channels (far better than my little clip) ...Are all these videos is real ? I do not know but the best way to check is to do the test ...your own test. Rgds
@@peterbellphotography I apologize for the undue accusation, as I say, I am also a user of the Osmo Pocket 3 and I am delighted with the image quality it has, in fact I am using it professionally to do specific things, my doubt was only with the clips that show your video starting at minute 00:50, since I don't get that sharpness when zooming.
