Much of this set is from a Madlib remix LP published in 2000 or 2001 (can't remember off the top of my head right now)
Track 2 is a Madlib remix of My World Premiere by Charizma and Peanut Butter Wolf.
Track 4 is a Madlib remix of Firewater by Big Pun.
Track 7 is a Madlib remix of No Holds Barred by Tommy Tee
Track 8 is a Madlib remix of The Look Of Love by T3
Track 12 is a Madlib remix of Misery Needs Company by Noreaga

At the same time that technology not existing is what shaped a lot of the production we know and love. The limits made it commonplace for producers to skip through records with vocals, drums, etc....
It would be cool if the older producers started to use it for their work... Easier to sample multiple tracks and make stuff that goes beyond loop digging and chops.
