My teacher mentioned this hadith the other day and mentioned that "young" in this hadith means those of with little knowledge and another opinion is that it means the people of innovation.
Either way, it's unfortunate that we are witnessing these times which our Prophet Muhammad SAW told us about.

Ali dawah is a layman , he ain’t no big caller nor does anyone take him as an reference point for knowledge so this mistake could have been brought to him privately for him to retract publicly, based on what we’ve seen from him recently he is the type to accept his mistakes . And Allah knows best .

Errors and sins done in public are corrected in public. Look at his huge following, if people don’t refute him in public then the sheep on RUclips will blindly follow his misguidance. Refutations in public are a mercy for him because it means less people will follow his misguidance and his sins will be less.
He is a public figure. I think the matter should have been brought to him privately utging him to correct this mistake publicly. And the IF he refuses to correct it publicly or argues that he is right in what he said, then this kind of video should be made against him.

While this man is one who shouldn't be taken from, there can be other celebrities who are Muslims or who Allah may guide (and may Allah guide them), that learn their religion, and become students of knowledge or even scholars. So in regards to this, I believe it's best to say "misguided social media celebrities or any other celebrity."
We can't be a scholar or even a student of Knowledge by learning from internet. We are still layman.

If so and he refused then it's good that you made this refutation video , if not then I think it's better to speak with him to pull his video and acknowledge his mistake publicly so all his followers can see that he was mistaken ... because of the effect it will have he has many subscribers and you don't so this refutation is not seen by everyone that saw his video . Akhi if a so called daee comes along and says the five daily prayers aren't obligatory or shirk is allowed you'll end up excusing saying we all make mistakes we have to deferintiate between minute and major mistakes if some one fell into such a clear thing known by Muslim primary school students and a grown adult daee doesn't see it to be wrong but goes in to justify it shows the lack of knowledge he's based upon so therefore he's not to be looked at for advice or shouldn't be giving dawah at all

How about touching a young child, like 6 or 7 years old? I saw the imam of our masjid hugging and kissing a young girl (in front of her dad, don’t get any ideas). And I know they are not related.

Once the girl reaches the age of puberty, then she's not a child anymore and the fiqhi rulings of women become applicable on her.

If it wasn't for these RUclips "celebrity" du'aat atheism would have overwhelmed our youth. Ali is not knowledgeable but the Prophet 'alayhisallaam said narrate from me, even if it's an aayah. Being a person of knowledge doesn't equate fame either, neither does fame mean you have to be knowledgeable. So be just.
Rasool's (SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) hadis does mean a Jahil can give dawah. Aoozubillah. It's dangerous.
He shook hand with a woman Without Knowledge and action without knowledge is attributed to Nasaara in suratul faatihah, not to Muslims. Rasoolullah made it fardh for us to acquire knowledge.
In suratul fatihah we take refuge in Allah when we say ( وَلَا ٱلضَّاۤلِّینَ) "not (the way of) those who went astray". They were the Nasaarah who without knowledge acted. The difference between jews and Christians was the jews had knowledge but of no actions while Christians were doing deeds without knowledge. So its knowledge which enables me and you put the first step forward. May Allah protect us from making such self designed dawah concepts. Aameen
it's Allah one who guides not the dai'i,go and check the story of prophet Muhammad saw uncle you'll understand.and there is a verse in the Qur'an also about it.
As much as I agree that this opinion of Ali to shake hands of old women is baseless as the beloved prophet never made distinction in the age of women when it comes to Hijab.
But that doesn't mean A'li is not fit for da'wah. At 0:51, you said he should stop giving da'wah. Think before you utter something. Just because a man is wrong on one path doesn't mean he shouldn't try to work in other spheres of Islam. We should say what wrong is wrong and what right is right but dictating a person just based on one or two fallacy is not the way of Salaf.
Being wrong is different..having a dilapidated and morphed methodology of seeking knowledge is surely different...everyone could be wrong ...even giant ulama are not free from it.. but their methodology is the manhaj of Rasulullah sallahualaihiwasallam...and when truth is told to them they accept...rather being arrogant.. you see the difference?
There are two levels of calling to islam... One means tabligh ..which is what you hear you go and tell people... But dawah needs intellect .. understanding of islam.. else while dealing with issues one might fall into spheres which are not islamic..and yet he will think he has done good..
If you haven't studied under the correct scholars, then you're not fit for da'wah. Ali Da'wah is not fit for Da'wah because he hasn't got any knowledge whatsoever, takes from innovators, doesn't return back to the Salaf, and in truth he doesn't differentiate between the truth and the falsehood. You don’t take from people who aren’t trustworthy or qualified. Read about how many scholars it took for Imam Malik RH to do later on have lectures; and these were scholars in MEDINA.
You can’t be blind in taking from someone who openly just tries and change what has already been legislated. Not even real scholars make their own opinions and put them into deen. You could see how they quote Hadiths after Hadiths and ayats after ayats. Not once they speak out of their own desires.
I made dua that Allah aza wa jal unites the Muslims under strong aqeedah and tawheed rather than to united under opinions and emotions of other groups.

Upon you is to take the last message of the prophet salalahu alayhi wasalam that to be among those saved until when the horn blows is to stick with the sunnah and the Quran. By over looking the mistakes people are making because they do not follow or seek knowledge of the deen the correct way is the destruction of this ummah, now you can stress about people leaving Islam or you can focus on having the correct aqeedah and holding firm onto your religion to save your self and your family. By neglecting the scholars who are truly the inheritors of our beloved prophet we are actually missing out on everything, imagine your father was a multi billionaire and he wrote your name on his will and instead of claiming your money your trying to chase some money that he gave to a another man hoping they will give you more than what your dad wanted for you. Point is 10/10 your settling for something less and 10/10 unless they are students of the scholars your gonna also acquire some mistakes which will lead you to misguidance eventually.
