Im a muslim from bosnia and following the manhaj of the salaf, alhamdulillah. But the ottomans had some good in them isnt it? They brought islam to the balkans, thats why the albanian and bosnians accepted islam.
Maybe so, but overwhelmingly their dealing with people of Tawheed was horrendous. الحمد لله you are Salafi but majority of the muslims in balkans were upon soofiya which the Ottoman Empire called to. الحمد لله for the spread of the Haq in the Balkans and all parts of the world.
Allah brought Islam to the Balkans. The Ottomans may have done some good things, but their evil outweighs that obviously.

Historically speaking, islam came in albania way before the turkish othoman invasion.
Muslims in balkans, they exepted islam from their own free will, .when you consider the shirk that they brought in aswell,, you can clearly say that there was no good in them whatsoever,, or the evil was greater than the goodnes that they brought.
They did little investment in albania, bu build some bridges and roads, which were on their benefits, to travell easy throu these lands.
There is not a city in albania or kosova, which doesnt have a grave ,place of shirk, dating back to the othomans.
All they did was ,, gathering soldiers yaniceries,, to fight for them.and in some cases forced them.
There was no justice,, or any sharia implemented by them ,in these lands.
Thats why albanians rebelled against them, and fought them many times.

I heard british are scared Saudis would unite india like they united 4 mathhabs, dumb sufis praying to graves, like preists, following shia christmas imitation mawlid had no base knowledge as sufis teach cultism, they went from zuhud dunya to zuhud din, disempowered & divided Muslims as colonists wanted while Salafiya did the opposite as he taught in his book Prophet's prayer, Sheikh Albani , all 4 mathhabs were salafi and taught transparency - we dont divide in names of imams like shias do while hiding bida and shirk, we are all to follow the Sunnah. Even Ashari in ladder part of life got closer, the psudeo Ashari spread after crusades but Prophet peace and blessings on him said to follow the salaf who even Imam Ashari repented to follow.
British pushed divisive sufi movements like tabligh and stuff, this is the main intellectual fitna, the physical ones is kawarij and shia combines between those 2 and other bida! Ahlul hadith India were also Persecuted I heard.
MiaW did hijrah to defend , gave Baya and spread Tawhid, he was a defensive Imam of the Sunnah. He wanted unity with the turks but due to their bida which got worse and led to infiltration because all the liars fit in, they fell apart by rebellions from Jordan who they defended from the Saudis who didn't rebel but who they attacked century or so earlier. Boy were the Turks wrong and consumed by their own evil. Colonists had influence in that turks lands like Egypt, so i wonder if they instigated but Saudis with sunnah could of united the Ottomons/ Uthmanis and prevented their bida division standardlessness and infiltration Insha Allah! oh well! Saudis eventually beat Hashemite Jordan who was betrayed over Palestine.
from 1930s to 1980s no terrorism except from israelis and maybe ikwanis, and then iran started suicide terrorism and secret aid to israelis who just lost the sinai in 73 to Sunnis. cia backed iran in 79. Ahlul Sunnah is free from kawarij terrorism, this is the right solution, ikwanis backed by british reintroducing bida that fell the Uthmani Ottomons is the wrong cultic response.
MAy Allah guide us to learn from this and spread Sunnah to the dumb sufis and protect us from ppl lie on history in addition to lying on Islam like the sufi kawarij yasir fadi and imran nazir! May Allah either expose or disable them or both if they don't repent. Amin!

During it's foundation and golden era they were appling Sharia law purely. They had there ups and downs but no doubt they were a Islamic empire
I am not encouraging khuruj, but lets be real. The Arab and African Muslims revolted because of the growing idea of "Ottomanism" (which was a move towards secularism and influenced by anti-Muslim French thinkers) and Turkish nationalism among the Ottomans. The Ottoman empire lead itself to it's own demise. If the Muslims sought true knowledge united on tahweed without shirk, only then can we have a unified Islamic empire.

Shrines, Shirk and Sufiyyah not comes with Ottoman. It was already exist from begining of Umayyads. Umayyads loved to build extraordinary
fancy buildings and monuments to show how glory they rule. Same history applied to Ottomans. You cannot make an individual exception what Ottoman sees.

Not an Arab though (a Bengali Muslim from Bangladesh), but saying, for religious reasons the Bangladeshi and Pakistanis love the Ottoman Empire so much that they don't even want to know the true history of this empire. And they think that all Muslims worldwide think like them and want the Ottoman Caliphate back. But the Arabs who were under their rule knew very well about the empire, and of course they have their reasons for that. As a Bengali if I tell them this, they call me Kafir and non-Muslim. Of course, this Ottoman Empire is one of the magnificent empires in the history of Islam and mankind and of Europe, and as a Muslim I am proud of that. But we can't deny what un-Islamic things the Turks did when they ruled such a vast quantity of land just because of their power, royalty and might.
As i a bangladeshi i would understand the perspective of us bengalis as many of us wouldnt understand this because we never had a khilafah in our land. Secondly, as much as i agree with the wrong doings of the ottomans, there is no denying that there is a bias, a nationalist perspective and a strong pleasement to the royals that is being imposed by various imams in current saudi arabia. Something isnt clicking in this video which i want to say but i dont want to make any accusations without clearcut evidences.

Honestly, it is true that the Kingdom of Saudi have had kings who did some things wrong and they focus on those mistakes. They are humans and they are not going to be perfect, but then they paint the ottoman empire as if it was this 100% perfect empire. Yes, they may have had a few kings who were good but the reality is that they were just a kingdom that was Muslim and not a calpihate and nor were they perfect.

The revolt was justified as Quran states “If two parties (or groups) among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both. But if one of them outrages against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which outrages till it complies with the Command of Allah. Then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily, Allah loves those who are the equitable. Quran: 49: 9

the Ottomons due to so much sufi bida , had no unity, we are to unite on Sunnah but they did bida and divided so much they became reunited secular like christians, due to ignoring scripture while Quran is preserved. they Uthmanis even allowed same sex sins, Naoothubillah! this is why bida is haram, they use psudeo Ashari tawil as their window, and sufis normalize bida using the dream hadith, we need to teach them Imam Ashari repented and sufism is a destabilizing preistly evil while calling back to the din. We need to clear up history because the sufis know they can't win with Kitab and Sunnah so they teach cultism and even when ppl wake up to that they lie on history, character assassination and even real assassinations due to their ghulu and evil, from ignroance to arrogance to violence. May Allah guide us to truth and good in din and dunya for His sake and faith & make things clear. Amin!
Saudis have the Aqidah of Calipha of Salaf, while Uthmanis had Aqidah of Khalaf of Psuedo Asharis which spread after ppl defeded from crusades which took place after the Salaf's Imams Aqidah like Ibn Hanbal (teacher of Bhukari) was challenged. REad book history of Islamic Aqidah by Muhammad Aman al Jami for a 200 standard page beautiful read on this topic with key points and development of fitnah in times of salaf.
Ottomon arrogance to Saudis reminds me of Qayraish arrogance to the Sunnis of before with the music. I notice alot in common with first Saudi Kingdom and the Sahabas Radiyallahu anhum and the awliyah of before! Sufis play the victim but should be ashamed they had no basis for what they did! Saudis corrected the dawa of the sharifs who would rebel against you in ww1 after your sufi dawa was infiltrated.
TAwhid is linked to security as we see in Quran 24, 55 and sufi and shias shirk leads to colonization as we read in hadiths and see in their lands - a clear sign of whose on truth for the emotional ones.
and the problem is the sufi bida being cultic only gets worse and ilm is replaced with ghulu which leads to shirk, May Allah save us from the sufi taqiya imitators of shiasm! They claim to be Sunni but need to learn the basis of salafi dawa to be fully Sunni and know how to unite on Sunnah and not divide on bida, not sufi blocking to the scriptures in name of mathhabs which Sheikh Albani exposed as false in his book PRophet's prayer as all 4 mathhabs were salafi and despite their errors united in manhaj/method. Rahimahullahum!

Exactly, they blame it on wahabis(Arabs at that time)🥲 like Allah would bring down an Islamic khalifa because of few Arabs!!! Which clearly contradicts the Quran, Allah says in Quran 47:7
“O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.” So clearly they didn’t support the course of Allah by sticking to tawheed so Allah humiliated and belittled them 🤌🏿 and Allah knows best

‘Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will her leader be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!’ Did our prophet really praise the sufi ottomans?? They have lost many men to the shia, the byzantines and the catholics to protect the ahli sunnah for centuries. Shame on you!!

The Sufis try to use this narration to authenticate their Ashariyyah and their erecting domes on graves, saying: “if what the ottomans did wasn’t right why would the Prophet ﷺ praise him.”
Muhammad Khan or Fātih as he was called because he conquered Qustantineeyyah in 857.
First of all: though some of the scholars have said this hadeeth is Hasan if you look and research far from your emotions and far away from Turkish dramas and Sufi shrines you will find the hadeeth is weak for the following reasons: one of the narrators of the hadeeth Abdullah ibn Bashr al-Khathami is unknown and reports from unknowns are not accepted.
His name is differed over, his father’s name and his ascription is differed over: it is said his name is Abdullah or Ubaydullah or Ubayd, it is said his father’s name is Basheer or Bashr and his ascription is either Khatha’mi or Ghanawi.
You can refer back to As-Silsilah tud-Da’eefah 778.
Shaykh Humūd at-Tuwayjiri mentioned in his book ittihaaf ul-Jamā’ah: I will summarize it: that the conquest of Muhammad al-Fātih is not the one intended by the Prophet ﷺ for the following reasons:
1) The conquest of Qustanteeniyyah which was intended by the Prophet ﷺ will be after Great Slaughter" (al-malhama al-kubra) [hasn’t taken place yet]
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth. He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand and said: This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu'adh ibn Jabal).
2) That will be right before the appearance of the dajjal
3) They will conquer Qustanteeniyyah whilst saying Subhaanallah, Laa ilaaha illallaa, Allaahu Akbar and not with great numbers nor weaponry.
4) it will take place at the hands of the Arabs not the Turks because the army will come FROM Madinah and The people of Madinah are Arabs.
The Last Hour would not come until the Romans would land at al-A'maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people of the earth at that time will come from Medina (to counteract them). When they will arrange themselves in ranks, the Romans would say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took prisoners from amongst us. Let us fight with them; and the Muslims would say: Nay, by Allah, we would never get aside from you and from our brethren that you may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army would run away, whom Allah will never forgive. A third (part of the army) which would be constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah's eye, would be killed and the third who would never be put to trial would win and they would be conquerors of Constantinople. And as they would be busy in distributing the spoils of war (amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, the Satan would cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your family. They would then come out, but it would be of no avail. And when they would come to Syria, he would come out while they would be still preparing themselves for battle drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer shall come and then Jesus (peace be upon him) son of Mary would descend and would lead them. When the enemy of Allah would see him, it would (disappear) just as the salt dissolves itself in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely, but Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ). Muslim
5) The ones who participated in the Great Slaughter" (al-malhama al-kubra) will be the ones who will conquer Qustanteeniyyah once again and they are the ones praised by the Prophet ﷺ the hadeeth above is a proof for this also.
6) this has not taken place yet because it will take place right before the appearance of the dajjal
Shaykh Ahmad Shakir - may Allah have mercy upon him - mentioned that the first conquest of Qustanteeniyyah which took place at the hands of the Ottomans was not the intended one by the Prophet ﷺ, rather it is the preface of the major conquest of it which is intended by the hadeeth.
The first army that invaded it was praised by the Prophet ﷺ in Bukhari under the leadership of Yazeed ibn Mua’awiyyah and Abu Ayyūb al-Ansāri and other companions that were a part of it and Ibn Taymiyyah quoted a consensus on this issue.
The second army which is praised is the army that will recapture Qustanteeniyyah from the Kuffār who will be strong in Aqeedah because they will conquer it and praise Allah with Subhaanallah, Laa ilaaha illallaa, Allaahu Akbar and not with great numbers nor weaponry.
They will be people of Tawheed as the scholars such as Shaykh al-Fawzan and Albani have mentioned.
They will not be those who build domes and shrines on graves as was done to the grave of the famous companion Abu Ayyub al-Ansari - may Allah be pleased with him - after the conquest of the Ottomans of Qustanteeniyyah, nor will this army that the Prophet ﷺ praised carry the filthy Aqeedah of Suffiyah.

In certain periods there was good and bad when it comes to the Ottoman empire. Some of the early Islamic empires were no better towards Tawheed.

Very good lecture by the Sheikh۔ when we are conclude our opinion then we must listen both sides۔ I also first time I listen the salafie side even though I love selfie olama for their straight forward on the commentary of Quran and hadees but on this contemporary issue I have so many objections Saudi's but today I listen and attain knowledge that ottaman Empire had also been make so many catastrophe and mistakes and brutality۔
But shaykh Saalih ala Shaykh mentioned that the Ottomans were more enclined to the truth in their beginning phases of the empire, but later on distanced more from the truth.
Any explanation about this specific issue?

This is the time frame the Shaykh is referring to. The Ottoman had good no doubt but they deviated far from Tawheed, erecting shrines over the graves, abolishing the Shari’ah, and murdering the callers to tawheed because it opposed the grave worship which they pushed through the Islamic world - if Allah wills I will post source books written by historians during that era which the Sufis & Ikhwānis hide. Remember the Sufis are an extension of the Shi’ah, this grave worship was introduced to the Islamic world by the Shi’ah and the Sufis took it on after them. That is why you will find Sufi grave worshippers and Ikhwānis over praising the Ottoman Empire as if they upheld Tawheed and the Sunnah when the actual reality is in contrary to their claims.

Yes definitely in the beginning they were upon sunnah because Allah would not have given them victory and power if they werent upon sunnah. In fact I believe theres even a hadeeth predicting the conquering of constantinople and the commander who did it.
But later on they fell into sufism and fought dawah salafia so Allah took away their power and put upon them a period of recession and weakness where they were called "the sick man of europe".
And then when they still refused to correct their Aqeedah and their deeds they crumbled entirely as we know.

Subhanallah. These atrocities were completely alien to people like me, May Allah forgive and shower his mercy upon the revivers of this faith. May Allah make the flags of Tawheed fly high in other nations of Muslims the likes of my country of origin Afghanistan and others.
Can someone clarify this point for me, was the ottoman empire established upon correct aqeedah principles at the beginning and during their rise and Tasawuff and bidah infiltrated it later and lead to its downfall? Or were these practices evident in the beginning?

Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani was not sufi, he was ahlul sunnah. Check sharh of the treatise by Sheikh Salih al Fawzaan, the sheikh praises Sheikh Abdul Qadir in this book.
Abdul Qadee Jeelani was a salafi aalim. He even praised salafi in his book.
