I’m 40 discovered these about 7-8 years ago and fell in love with them with the Halfway Human album when it released on my birthday and I was just browsing for new music… they’ve entered my solid top 5 bands of all time with their unique sound and insanely good heaviness and melodic mixed together and definitely has to do a LOT with the Joe and Kevin aside from the whole thing just working well all the way around
At less than 30,000 subs id say so. And its been 24hrs and they barely are pushing 10,000 views. Id say pretty underrated at this momnt(even though they've been around awhile)

Absolute monster of a tune! You know, nobody sounds like this band; they're sound is so unique. Every time I try to find another band with a similar sound, I'm let down. There is just something about their tone and style that I've not heard anyone else even come close to duplicating.
The tone and sound but also their crazy riffs and drums. My head just automatically starts to rock to the beat and it’s like it has a certain swagger to the rhythm
I've been looking too my entire life. There's The Raven Autarchy, Diminish the Gods, Harbored Dreams, The Greatness Design. These bands are worth checking, there are some similar elements, but I agree, Within the Ruins is completely unique

New album is 100% on my top 10 albums this year. S-tier 2024 drop. The WTR formula is ever present, but they somehow still always manage to keep it fresh and exciting!

Like Moths to Flames, Shokran, Imminence, and A Wake In Providence all dropped gems. Looking forward to new Fit For An Autopsy, Allt, Shadow of Intent, and Bodysnatcher (they all dropped singles already)
