Within The Ruins is legit the most underrated and underappreciated band I've ever listened to. The riffs they come up with are fucking insane and Kevin McGuill is an absolute beast of a drummer. They are so well rounded and on point with everything they do. They deserve so much more recognition.

Other ones I’d put up there right now as far the lesser known names would have to be Sylosis, Kingdom Of Giants, The Red Chord, Misery Signals, Across The Sun, The Human Abstract, and Murdock (3 piece group from Ireland, not the rapper). As far as the big names go I’m a big sucker for Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Trivium, Unearth, All That Remains, and then Slipknot, Pantera, and Black Sabbath are like my bread and butter
