Trying scared gold as my first difficulty hack and even though I always use repel manips in main game nuzlockes I had difficulty finding out the wild levels of Pokémon in this game. So annoyed bc I’m prepping for bugsy and I would’ve got steelix instead of sandshrew in b1f union cave💔 How do you find out the levels of each Pokémon in any given area? Thanks

Gen2 starters might not have competitive viability like charizard or venasuar but the viability ingame from totodiles move rage or typhlosions thunder punch are ridiculous, being able to carry you through fights entirely. Rage on bugsys first Mon so that u can KO scyther with 1 hit
imo getting a forewarn vulpix is one of the best things in the game. Drought ninetales with flamethrower and solarbeam can beat about half of the game just through brute force.

One thing to note, there are no trade evolutions in sacred gold, there are items to evolve golem, gengar and the like

I think it was a 50-50 chance for Ice Beam or Thunderbolt there. Ice Beam obviously would've been terrible for Flygon
