The water comes in through a vent in the bottom the hole you found is where the water comes out from cooling the motor

Mine also leaks a little water 🌊 try turning the middle knob all the way to the right and also put the far right knob to the middle for ur steering. If that doesn't work u have to adjust ur linkage knuckle it's kinda self explanatory lol

That the boat makes water inside is normal, every boat does. You can use special tape to cover de edges of the canopy 😄

Mine runs great and turns on a dime so I definitely recommend it turns slightly better to the right for me but doesn't make a difference
