I was in the stadium for this - shoutout to section 323! - and was absolutely blown away by this performance. As you noted, the Benz is a notorious venue acoustically anyway; combine that with the insanity that is the Super Bowl, and you’ve got a really overwhelming environment in which lesser artists would probably flounder. Heck, we saw that with the halftime show not long after this. At any rate, marvelous insights as usual. I love hearing you speak on an alto range as well; could I sing, that’s where my register would be, so it’s nice to hear your thoughts on placement and harmony there and alongside a soprano. You continue to open up such a cool world to those of us who wouldn’t normally be part of it; I’ve said before that I’d love to pick your brain over a glass of wine, and it remains truer than ever, so if you’re ever out Covington way, it’s on me. :)

Tara, please consider reacting to and promoting some great singers of color who aren’t mega popular like Lianne La Havas, Jocelyn Brown, Regina Belle, Aretha, Sebastian Kole... even artists like Howlin’ Wolf...there are SO many. You could really expand your audience. And these kids that watch you need to learn about where these pop singers of today are emulating. Reacting to the great soul/blues/jazz singers of the past AND present with YOUR expertise will open up a whole new world of vocal possibilities to your viewers while honoring those who built the foundation of much of the popular music we hear today! ❤️

Every person in the world has been highly influenced by someone who came before them.... but they absolutely do not have the same vibrato as Beyoncé... Chloe and Halle have a lot more control... their vibrato changes frequency and speed Chloe sounds more like Mariah then Beyoncé and Halle has one of the most clearest head voices I’ve ever heard
No.. they’ve been singing like that since they were little. Beyoncé didn’t always sing like that.
