The quality of your videos is mega on a TV as opposed to my usual phone viewing. It's very clear that you have the best equipment for the job and the consummate skill to use it! Mahalo for this comprehensive BTS!
Thanks PED loved that behind the scenes one. I was away for a couple of weeks and been catching up on your videos a great little collection. Have a great break!
I now watch most of your videos on a largish TV rather than a PC, which has elevated them to new heights. It is obvious that you are using good quality kit, and it is amazing how a one man production company can now match the bigger players by using this. P.S. That Hyundai looks like a belter of a car.
Hello Mr Greaves! Having been a channel subscriber since your earlier years, it is very clear to me that you have always strived for high quality within your videos and most of that is down to learning new techniques or finessing techniques and processes once learned - like any other skill. You have come on leaps and bounds since those early days and this clever new device will add yet more polish to already high quality production levels. Whilst I’m not as much of a petrol-head as I was in my earlier years, I am still interested in cars and love driving. And though I don’t like all the cars you review, I have always enjoyed your presenting style and content. Its just like meeting up with a mate and gassing about cars. Keep on doing what you are doing, Ped. Best wishes from Wirral, as ever.
Hello, Peter thanks for the answer. I do filming for my wife's architectural firm I film in 8k and I use Da Vinci Resolve to down-convert to 4k and Final Cut Pro on a Mac Pro.
Brilliant insight into the world of a You Tuber. Very interesting and informative. Can't believe the price, I thought it would nearer £500 at least. Thanks Pedro. Much appreciated.
Just ordered. There is currently 20% off, though remote control appears to only be available directly from Hohem, and also currently has a discount at present. Cheers.
Have you looked into the DJI Pocket 2? Pocket 3 coming soon hopefully. I used to use a gimbal with my phone but realised I didn’t want my phone tied up so much. Then I found the Pocket 2 which is amazing. Excellent video quality and very compact. I run my whole channel on it. As well as a bit of Mini 2 drone use. Another tip for steady shots is if filming at 60fps, move twice as fast as you want the shot to be then slow down 50%. Gives much better results.
That's a decent bit of kit by the looks of it. I was recently given a JOBY telepod by someone as a present for doing a full detail on a car for a trip away. It looks like it will be good for doing stationary shots of cars that I have transformed for Instagram. The JOBY has a remote control which is good for me as I can't hold a camera and take a picture as I suffer from Benign Essential Tremor but that bit of kit looks like a winner if I ever decided to do RUclips. Maybe it's a present for my 60th which is creeping up on me faster than I would like. Less than 6 months to go. Another different style of film but still good. You would make a good lecturer!!!!!
I’m not sure if you know but that is exactly what Peter is in his “day job.” He gives Technical Training to students in the world of electronics and clearly superb at it.
