Absolutely superb vlog Karl and stunning shots . Looks an epic location, must get to North Wales soon, only live in Mcr, but don’t get there very often.
Another great vlog mate. When the snow comes and it’s got a good coating I’ll let you know and we can meet up. I was there again on Saturday morning, the lovely rust colours are gone now, but like you say winter should be good especially if the trees get a good coating. But you’ll need to allocate a whole day for this spot and if we’ve got time another stunning spot I’ll take you to not far from there. 🌨 🌨 🌨🌨 depending upon the light though.
That sounds like a plan mate. I'm gonna be busy through the Winter haha. I've got an idea where your going ro take us but I'll leave it for a surprise haha
I enjoyed that, Karl, the Gwydyr is a gem and I can walk to all of these locations from my front door in Capel Curig. It takes years to really get to know the forest and even now, after 10 years of living here, I'm still stumbling upon new and exciting locations there :)

Wow , have to agree that looks like an epic location and some images to match. It's always great when there are so many potential compositions rather than spending forever finding something that works. If you are planning anything in the Lakes (or Keld in Yorkshire with all the waterfalls) give me a shout.

If you’re coming to Canada Karl, you’ll get the best photos around the Rockies,Vancouver Island,Newfoundland etc. It’s very flat here in southern Ontario for great landscape images.Lake Superior in Northern Ontario is beautiful but it’s a nine hour drive to get there for us.Another fantastic video and images this week.Cheers 💙
