Nice to see you back in action Karl. Enjoyed the video and the images you took. My favourite was the tree tunnel image. I think the tree in the the first shot was a Yew Tree, you get them in old Church Grave yards.

Another great video. I know when i used the Mamiya 645 format, despite carrying a 35mm/55mm/80mm/210mm the 55mm ( 35MM FF equivalent) and 210mm ( 150MM FF equivalent )lenses were my most used. Then when i moved back to Nikon with a D700, i thought i would try just using primes, so bought the 28mm /50mm /85mm but it didn't work as well as a system like it did on the Mamiya. I think it was partly due to the different formats. I found and still find i prefer the 645 ratio over the 3:2 used in DSLR's. Now i have the Z7 i find i am usually scrolling through the different aspect ratios in camera to see if one works better than the standard 3:2 ratio. 🙂

I've heard others say that too Carl. Carrying all those lenses must have been a backbreaking excersise though!!

@@karlphoto365 It was as i was also carrying 4 film backs too. 😂 If i remember correctly just my camera gear weighed around 11kg. I think between the camera gear, rucksack, food, water, spare clothes etc i was always carrying 20kg on me.

It's all down to differing style, which is important because we all have our own take. I am Z 14-30 and 24-70, 90%+ of the time. Even when I put on my 24-200 I rarely shoot much above 70mm. I can honestly say for landscape I am probably in single digits for "keepers" above 100mm.
