I think an important aspect of 1v1 is tilt-management. It's objectively the most tilting mode. But there's no-one to 'fill the gap' once yer tilted; it's just you. Working through this helps you manage it-- the tilt never goes away, but you can deal with it better with the practice that 1v1 provides, to make you a hardier player overall.
Gotta admit I do wonder what RMC 2.0 would have been like with Chronic replacing Cheese for an entire season. Just out of curiosity. The LJ & FirstKiller team has top-level international potential.
Crazy how smooth you are. Love the videos, helps me a lot. I just don't understand how you guys double jump so quick to the aerial. I always back flip. You make this look so easy.
chronic you are the pro and i'm not but i feel like you don't zapdash as much as you should, or as much as i see other pros at least. especially when coming down from a wall or the net you can always do a quick zapdash
1v1 is tilting as f especially for me because im 💩 so i stay away from it, but i wanna get better as a player and feel if i dont push myself to play 1s ill never get better
no 1s is not the best game mode to get better that’s fundamentally wrong. The other game modes teach you how to play the standard game. Everything in 1s is already in 3s. All you’re doing is getting more consistent mechs which you can do in 3s and 2s as well as free play.
This is just wrong. Zen, FK, Monkey, Seikoo, Daniel, all the bests play 1s except Beastmode traditionally. And when players peak, they were often at the top of their 1s grind or even rankings (think peak FK, peak Zen, Fairypeak, Joreuz, Ayyjayy on Optic, Daniel, most except for a few like Justin). Scrub almost exclusively played 1s and won a championship. The players who are not at the top don't play much 1s. You are on the ball 50% of the time (on average), so of course it's way better than 3's where you are on the ball a measly 16% of the time. Plus, Retals, Chronic, AppJack, FK and so many pros have stressed 1s as the quickest way to improve. I'll trust the pros who've mad it to the top. This is the first time I've ever heard someone say 3's is the best way to improve. Freeplay, absolutely of course.
@ 3s is what the game was built for it’s the main game mode. All the pros you’ve mentioned are also fundamentally wrong. You are on the ball more but you never have to think about your teammates and the game around you. All you’re practicing is mechanical consistency, that’s it. Whilst that may get you to the top it’s not the correct way to play the game and never will be. You cannot refer to pros knowing what they’re talking about when all of their coaches still argue to this day about the fundamentals of the game between themselves. If the game had structure team would be more consistent. No team is consistent enough to stay at the top because of this.
@@charger7642 This video is about the quickest way to improve, not the quickest way to improve when you're already a pro, so of course it's 1s. 1s gives you by far the most analysis of your own mistakes, time on the ball, etc. The pros know more than you do and I do. I listen to them and when I play 1s, I improve a lot more than when I grind 3s.
Have you seen height to weight charts when the USA was touted as the healthiest nation in the world? His weight is very likely absolutely normal using that old-school scale. Can't comment on overall health, hopefully it's all good.
Chronic: Good at 1v1 = good at everything
