MAN, after watching a clip of all of Nightbird’s scenes in Rise of the Beasts, it’s absolutely pathetic how much she was wasted! It would have been so much more interesting if Bumblebee had just kept her as a shield until he landed, injuring her but keeping her alive to follow the Autobots’ code of ethics; then she has time to reflect on how Scourge never hesitated to shoot one of his most loyal subordinates despite everything she had done for him. Then-assuming there would ever be a sequel for such a disappointing movie which I admit I never saw-she could go through an existential crisis as she finds new purpose in life and grows past her violent ways. And, I don’t know, maybe Bumblebee could get a curvy ninja girlfriend as she feels indebted to him for sparing her life. Too much of the Bayverse/semi-Bayverse is clearly just quick marketing to sell the new toys for that film rather than giving the Cybertronians actual arcs. 😤
