  • Building a 9 figure investment corpus is a dream for every investor. So in this video, we explore multiple paths that can help an investor realize the dream of building a 10 Crore corpus.
    Topics Covered:
    00:00 Introduction
01:28 LET MATH SHOW THE PATH
05:35 A SIP IN TIME GETS US A NINE (FIGURE CORPUS)
    11:27 SOME IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

    📚 The Psychology of Money : amzn.to/3FNI1Wd
    📚 Learn to Earn : amzn.to/3FKmKg1
📚 The Little Book That Still Beats the Market : amzn.to/3HvsKtN
👉 LET MATH SHOW THE PATH
A number like 10 crores might feel a little daunting at first but much like any plan, a financial target often comes to three things - a) the initial investment or starting capital, b) annual returns and c) the duration. For example. if you have 10 lakhs of investible surplus, then an annual return of 26% for the next 20 years will take you to 10 crores. Make use of what you already have to ensure you are putting your investments in potentially better performing instruments
👉 A SIP IN TIME GETS US A NINE (FIGURE CORPUS)
Building a nine-figure wealth corpus needs discipline and perhaps, the most effective way of doing that via the SIP route. Watch out for the 15-15-15 and 15-15-30 rules which can get you to 1 crore and 10 crore within 15 and 30 years respectively.
A combination of the lumpsum approach and the SIP approach makes the task of achieving a high number like 10 crores a lot more doable. In our view, this combination of an initial lump sum plus the use of annual bonuses and a monthly SIP can go a long way in helping investors build a multi-crore wealth corpus
    👉 SOME IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
    1. Instruments of Investing: Equity does a lot better than debt over the long term
    2. Shifting Corpus from equities to fixed-income instruments when nearing the goal
    3. Inflation and taxes

Highly informative video especially the last few points. We generally don't consider the abnormalities in market cycle in our overall returns, hence for a long term investor if a huge market crash occurs during let's say the final 5 years of investing, it going to put a significant dent on overall returns.Hence we need to financially plan 5-6 years ahead of retirement.

    I have one topic suggestion,
Ramesh Damani in his interviews has time and again said that if you invest Rs 10 lakh in business which grow at 18% ROI, you will be able to reach a Rs 100 crore in a span of 30 years, all you need is 10 doubles
It will be great if you can make a video on this topic and convey is it even practically doable!

That's what we said in this video.
      10 lakhs * (1.26)^10 = 1 crore
      10 lakhs * (1.26)^20 = 10 crores
      10 lakhs * (1.26)^30 = 100 crore
I am not sure where 18% comes from. Per math, it should be 26% per annum

Very Good Content, thanks for sharing the wisdom. My Question is, is it wise to invest lumpsum in equities? As a general thumbrule the recommendation I get from financial experts is to take only the SIP route for equities and lumpsum only for debt funds. Please advice.

    • @jaimishra8111
      @jaimishra8111 Год назад

I think Lumpsum would work perfect when the markets are down or if you don't want to time the market then simply divide your lumpsum corpus into15 to 20 pieces and invest just like SIP. Remember to stretch this SIP for 2 years ,incase if the markets are at high valuations(just like you have lumpsum in july august 2021 where markets were at all time high) 2 years would be enough to give you a decent valuation at an average.

Thanks 👍 Please do give it a try .. the idea here is to sow a seed of "it's possible" in the minds of all viewers. We see many investors on our platform reaching this target and have studied their patterns .. and it's always a combination of lumpsum and SIP that gets them there. Wish you the best!

Your videos are without a doubt, the most suitable for novice/beginner investors. You explain everything so succinctly. As someone who also started relatively late, i would advise people to have a SIP/Lumpsum in at least one Index fund and also to allocate a small portion of your portfolio in to cryptocurrencies. It would be irresponsible for a modern investor to ignore bitcoin etc - for the long term.

ET Money and Shankar: Another fabulous video. I have been stopped from sharing these videos anymore in my groups as they said all of them have now subscribed. Great Job.
Just to let you know, most of the folks don't know much on Direct vs Regular in mutual funds. I had to specifically explain and still it was not bought into much because they do not get their consolidated portfolio at a single place. That was till I heard you say that you only deal with Direct.
So now I have started sending them to your app.

one thing I am surprised is that, people are thinking about 10cr for retirement. I never thought that way. to me I belived that 1or 2 Cr is enough(Even this is also difficult for most people). Anyway I am also increasing my target to 10 Cr( in 30 years of time). Thanks to ET money.
