- Join me as we review the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy. Is the 2022 Santa Fe one of the best vehicles in the segment? How does the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe fall short and what the 2022 Santa Fe really good at? These are all things we look at in our review of the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe.
To fix your steering wheel issue, put the drive mode to “Smart”. I own the same vehicle.
Hey Gary, yes, I did have it in Smart and Sport, does help a bit. However, the feel is still not as tight and precise as Ford Edge.
Just got a 2022 … love it
Really nice and detailed review. I saw so many other review videos - yours is the best. Thank you.
Thank you so much :)
I'm still on the fence, in regards to trading in my 2021 Palisade Calligraphy for this. Love my Palisade, but we already have a 2021 Infiniti QX80 and don't need 2 three row vehicles. Ty for the review.
The Santa Fe Calligraphy is awesome, I own a 22 and its not only fun to drive but comfortable and functional. Love the storage in the rear floor! Just a beautiful car overall!
What's the real mpg?
Maybe if you want better handling and PIZZAZ....you should put it in Sport Mode....that will put a big smile on your face!
What about driving road noise please comment
VERY little, no bull! We have this 2022 model and love the livin' Hell out of it. It's JUST below an entry level Genesis in comfort, tech, silence and pick up!
really good review
Thanks!
I bought a 22 sle and the apple car play and android auto is wireless
Thoughts about it vs the rdx?
Hey there, I would go for the RDX, but it's definitely more expensive than the Santa Fe.
@@UnBoxedAutos why would you say RDX over Santa Fe Calligraphy and which trim?
Rdx is expensive and smaller. But more powerful. Acura vs hyundai ..
@@iaskalbert3891 Santa Fe 2.5T faster 0-60 than RDX.
Great car …. but. I’m reaching out to fellow 2021-22 Santa Fe Calligraphy owners. (2.5 T w/HTRAC) I’m vexed; the Radiator fan will randomly run at full speed for 1-2 mins. after I turn the engine off. The Dealer can’t find any sensor defects in the diag. We live in a mild climate; the engine is not being taxed when this happens. This can’t be normal. Is anyone out there experiencing this issue too? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - Rick
Hey Rick, I'm sorry to hear about that. I can't say that I've experienced this with that vehicle.
it happened to me once too, but this happen after crawling uphill for ~15 minutes. So I thought it was expected behavior. Most probably it was cooling transmission radiator.
pretty sure this is a modern form of a turbo timer, A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an automotive engine running for a pre-specified period in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure.
my 2400cc turbodiesel V60 volvo does the same. Any time I turn the engine off, the radiator fan run at full speed for some mins....even during winter. I think Jesse James gave you the right answer.
This guys a hater I’m buying this whip All IN.
Love the vehicle but no spare tire is a deal breaker.
Transmission is guaranteed $3k work every 80k miles or less. What a shame....
No wireless CarPlay, no night vision radar, back left/right signal lights on the bumper not seen clearly by other cars following this car. 👎
Night Vision.... You mean Thermal Cameras right?
You do understand that is a super expensive option that doesn't just come on any car?
Sure, it's a bummer it doesn't have wireless CP & AA, but it's still a split in the segment, only a few offer wireless. Virtually no vehicle in this class offer night vision and as far as the signals go, I can't really comment to that.
@@gs8259 Although Peugeot 3008 can not come to near to this car it surprisingly has night vision radar, ie thermal camera. I saw it on my neighbor’s car. It comes as standard with 3008. You now it’s segment is below Santa Fe.
"Night vision radar"....?!? You're serious?? Buy a Mercedes Benz S580, then you'll get it.🙄🙄🙄
???? Comparing a Hyundai Santa Fe to a Ford or a Chevy?!? That's like comparing a Pinto to Lexus.
