Excellent tutorial, I used your video to convert my mask. It turned out amazing! Along with scratching the hair line with your fingers, you can use a utility knife and gently scored the hair line to loosen up even more of the hair from the glue. It turned out really well, can't really notice the hairline at all, really improved the look of the mask! Thanks for sharing, great vid!
I was doing what you were doing with the hairline on mine and I figured out that it’s a lot faster to just get the palm of your hand and rub the hair line in circles and make it look blended in like in the movie. It works
Thanks a lot for posting this vid it really made my mask look a lot better than it did and I did a nice paint job so it looks really good. So thanks a bunch. 🙌👍
I have one of the first prototypes and it looks better than most of the rehauled ones cause it has the actual paint that they used on the ones in the film.
I do Michael Myers mask I literally bye William shatner mask and repaint them and die with hair and when I did this mask with that hair it worked out so good so thanks for her tips
Same here lol I don't trust myself with this method, even though I messed around with the hair a couple times since I first got it, not gonna mess with it again.
Honestly I love the quality we are finally starting to get. Back in 2008 I actually had to have a custom mask made by a 3rd party because any “licensed” mask made back them were terrible. And looked nothing like “the shape” so I am happy with the direction things are going.
Same here, I never knew what mass production had meant, until now, but some of them are of good quality and details, some aren't, I really need new hair on my mask as it sheds too much and can barely style it the way I want, I got lucky with a good H6 one, I would rehaul it but idk how and don't have the materials.
@@Savi-digital I feel it man. I would look on eBay for someone selling a cheap mask off season. And practice on it. I did that with like 4 different Halloween 2018 masks like 4 months after the movie came out and they came out pretty good. I even sold a couple at retail price just because I wanted the practice
@@AGARCIA88 Were you nervous at first when you did your first rehaul? also, what materials would you recommend I use for a rehaul? I thought about getting one of them masks and practicing on it, good idea.
@@Savi-digital yea man a little. Acrylic paint and liquid latex and some good brushes. It depends on what mask you are looking to do too. Start off on a H1 mask or something since you can’t really mess up a white mask haha. I just posted a video the other day on a Captain Kirk rehaul I did just for fun.
Jay Holmes no problem man! I haven’t really played with the hairline in that. But I would assume a similar method. I don’t think you would need to rip a lot of hair off tho

Finesse Aquatics awesome! I’m glad it helped you! Post a video/pic of your conversion!

Matthew Fox nice I’ll give that a shot on my next one
it pulls the hair up and starts to expose the glue and top of mask and second row of hair when you do that.
BOOROCKS VIDEOS maybe I won’t lol
@@AGARCIA88I actually used your technique. wasnt trying to be a tool.. i just know palming it reduces the length ...
I tried this, hope I didn't mess up the hair on my mask smh.
Decided to be Michael Meyers this Halloween and I’m glad I found your video. Extremely helpful for the hair on the mask
Houston, I appreciate this video and all your advice. Over and out
Fantastic video! You did a great job with all the details. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the hair tips they are great, going to try them on mine 👍
StrokedandBlownSRT nice post your results!!
@@AGARCIA88 did you take the hairline off or you left it

even if you do,take too much off it might actually help with the look. since the mask would be rotting, i’m sure the hair would be falling out also.
Great video Brotha.. Doing this now, before I repaint mine 👍 thank you
Agree with your hair tips. I don’t think it’s necessary to remove all the hair. I just removed the front hair line and brought it forward a bit.
Top job mate looks so much different 👍🏻🎃🧡
Danny Bevins thanks man! 🤘🏽
just ordered my mask great hair tips saves the ripping that hair line off then clueing it back on great job man
Nice! Yea this mask doesn’t really need that step!
24:12 "Just so it holds that SHAPE" no pun intended.
Just did this to mine. Awesome tips. Thanks!

Cyrus Lazo glad it helped!
Bro that specific h40 mask was already perfect, I've never seen one that good already, where exactly did it come from?
i ordered it directly from TOTS
Bro well done
the mask was on the shelf in the background then when you get back it fell off
he took the water bottle from that mask

Great job man keep up the good work👍
Retr0 thank you! I hoped the video helped!
Thank you this helped a lot earned a new sub 👍
But in the movie the hair wasn’t that messed up
Edit: never mind I was talking about the beginning
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😍
MR CARPENTER LETS MAKE ANOTHER HALLOWEEN MOVIE...
"HALLOWEEN THE BEGINING 2023"
Can you do anything with my hair? Kidding.... great video appreciate you doing it... I hate the Factory hair...
Where did u originally buy the mask from
can you cut the hair on the mask
I just took the hair off of mine and cut the slit so I can fit it and cut the needle hole, hella lot of work a lotttt
4 years ago TOTS made amazing copies 😭😭 copy from 2022 to now are so bad :( Even the size, old copy is bigger. Actual mask are so small and tight.
How can you have a thick beard and be going through puberty at the same time?
What is the best type of hair to use for a Myers mask? Mohair?
sciontc627 or camel. It’s all up to what you want to use
Cool, thanks 👍
Oliver S. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Hola me gustaría saber si me podia pasar la dirección para comprar una máscara igual de michael myers gracias
Can anyone recommend how to make this mask fit better? Mine is too tight
Be skinnier
I do Michael Myers mask I literally bye William shatner mask and repaint them and die with hair and when I did this mask with that hair it worked out so good so thanks for her tips
I never done any kind of work with masks. I just don't trust my ability to even attempt this.
I put 4 bald spots in my mask when I tried messing with my hair a really long time ago😂😂 I don’t trust myself with this
Same here lol I don't trust myself with this method, even though I messed around with the hair a couple times since I first got it, not gonna mess with it again.
Awesome tutorial. I really want to try this on mine, but I am scared I will mess it up.
Could u do a 1978 mask tutorial?
Possibly! I have one sitting at home that needs it haha

From 18:15 to 18:21 look at the mask in the background on the left, it fell down or something
Alex Productions woah! I never noticed that.. kinda scaring me now! Lol
I love the hair on the tots h40 I hate the color on the mask in the movie the mask wasn't yellow it was kinda a mix between grey

Te voy a mandar mi máscara para que me la arregles igual thanks
They hardly put any hair on mine so there is bald spots
Same
What shoul I do
Nice Tut!! Do you have one dealing with re-paint?
ToddB987 not yet. But I definitely plan on making in one!
Damn man...Thanks alot..Really appreciate the tutorial. Worked great for me!! Now. How do I lower the hairline ok my TOTS H78? Lol
Jay Holmes no problem man! I haven’t really played with the hairline in that. But I would assume a similar method. I don’t think you would need to rip a lot of hair off tho
if you pull like half a centimetere of the hair down and glue it, you bassiclally got a new hairline. There also are tots h78 rehaul videos on RUclips
@@flololodoboi9620 what type of glue? I found another one and the hair is super full and has a lower hairline. But still wanna give it a go.
I lowered my hairline on my H78 about 3/4 of an inch. With Tacky glues brand.
@@ToddB987 cool I appreciate the advise .. I had a bit of a disaster. Just bought another copy. Take no 2. Lol
Looks bad ass.
thanks!
Will you give it to tutorial on how to paint it?
Savage Binks 05 I might do that! I have some more that need paint. Ima start late September
Hey are these still on eBay?
Yes
Can you not just shave the sides?
Use a gallon milk
is there something wrong with your voice? why is it cracking so much?
1000 subs without videos your right it is cracking. I’m not sure man. Never noticed it before? Maybe it’s my 2nd round of puberty at age 30 😂
What a ridiculous comment. His voice is fine and I appreciate his content. Go troll somewhere else and learn how to be a better person
This is stupid.
The hair was fine.
