@@GarzaPodcast As humans, I know we all have self doubt in one way or another. But between the band and this new podcast, you're killin it bro. Real talk. I been a fan since No Time to Bleed and its been awesome watching your success. Keep going Garza! 🤘🏾
Might be a day late and a dollar Short, but this interview has been one of the most inspiring things I have seen as of late. 3 years old but still plays into current times. Appreciative of this interview and video. You both rock.
Jose always bring positive vibes man! He’s the ambassador for Metal music for sure! People should really appreciate we have him in the community and doing shits purely based on the passion and love for the culture! Great interview! Enjoyed it very much!
Everybody always say this guy was a loon and too much, but I always liked him, hes just passionate about his work, how is that wrong? fucking people cant stand someone different, good guy who worked hard
Man I love this interview I can relate with a lot of things Jose shared about his high school years and some other stuff, man I wanna say a lot but at the same time I find my self without words is just a beautiful chat between good friends!!!
This is the first time I’ve seen/heard Jose Mangin in a podcast setting, and he’s such a cool dude! This is definitely one of the episodes I come back to often.
Garza… awesome interview!!! Can’t wait for the next! Keep up the great work! Jose is the best! He is such an inspiration to me because of his positive outlook on life. If everyone lived life like him the world could be a better place. I’m from Arizona so we have crossed paths a few times at shows. He is always willing to take time to chat with you about whatever. Very humbling. So much respect for the dude! KAMP Radio was where I first heard him at The UofA in TooStoned Arizona! I knew right away he was something special. 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Great interview. I have listened to Liquid Metal for years and have thought that Jose was a little “in your face”. After hearing his story and seeing his passion, it’s totally changed my opinion of him. Jose, keep doing you! Very inspiring. And Garza, you and Suicide Silence are badass! One of my favs!
I agree with you on the Nu metal thing, I grew up with Nu Metal and it was a gateway into other metal sub genres. Nu metal was and still is great. Bands like Tetrarch, Tallah etc are carrying the torch now.
As a huge fan of metal and Vinny Paul and Pantera I loved the conversation of are you metal enough? What band/bands are metal? As a young kid back in the eighties I was the kid listening to run dmc while wearing a Metallica T-shirt also having a Motley tape in his backpack. Translation I was labeled a "poser" but why does that have to have a label. Music is either good or bad...
I winds me up chronic when i hear people talking about korn not being metal. Metal to me, in part, always has this outcast sort of aura. Loke anti establishment, anti conformity "ill do whatever the fuck i want and I'll wear whatever the fuck i want". So when you have these elitists who only losten to bands that sound like theyve been frozen in time since 1989 telling me Korn aint metal cause they have dreads and wear tracksuits, i can only assume that they had no idea what metal in the 1st place. Korn had no rules they didnt give a fuck and they (among other bands) helped the industry remember not to give a fuck and be different (even from your peers) And by sheer attitude alone they are more metal than tooons of metal bands i know
Jose dropped so many gems in this interview. So much game. This one was REALLY good Garza 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Thanks! Jose did drop a lot of gems. He helped me with quite a few self-doubts I had. Still learning after this one. -Garza
