Strange dicey transitions, with a shopping cart-esque feel to it, you start to wonder..However with a very fun drop, crazy inversions & some of the strongest ejector around this is such a fun #ConeyIsland ride.🥃⚡️ Height:115 MPH:56
You know what? I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the Cyclone. It's got some truly unique moments, amazing ejector and I didn't mind the roughness as much as others. Truly.
And from the nerd side of me, I love this ride for being what got Zamperla into thrill coasters like this. Now we have their Double Heart models and others to look forward to. I think they're gonna have a jump somewhere between Chance and RMC. And this ride is what started it!

After years of putting off the Thunderbolt, I was forced to ride it by my social worker last Sunday. He wanted me to face my fears or something like that. I nearly blew my voice out for a couple hours because it made me scream in ways that I hadn't done in years! 😅
How was it though?! Ahah worth it?🤌🏽

My dad forced me to ride this too.
Went on this ride last Saturday and it felt good. Definitely enjoyed it. I'm not gonna lie. I felt like I was gonna come out of the seat on those loops but the ride was pretty cool overall. Definitely will ride again in the future
One of this thunder bolt rides is coming to the uk in 2024 opening at southport pleasure land in the uk....
I’ve heard a lot of people actually prefer this to Shellraiser because 1) Even though the drop is “only” 90 degrees it’s a straight free fall, 2) The ejector air on the return airtime hills, and 3) It’s located in a MUCH better park.
This ride is 10Xs better than Shellraiser for me. Huge soft spot for Thunderbolt. 🥃
Rode the one at OWA a few months ago and it was actually much better than expected. The trains and restraints suck but it tracked somewhat smoothly and had some oddball elements.
I can’t wait to do that one! I hear it’s slightly smoother.🤌🏽

Zamperla now has improved A LOT on the track work and smoothness. I bet that the next Thunderbolt model Will be way better

When you go on the ride when ur about to drop hold your breath, trust me , you would want to . Also if you sit in the front row keep your head back , if not then your head will be all over the place. Also you come out of your seat a little a lot of times but It was a very VERY fun ride.

I think this coaster has a solid layout and some really fun moments, but the one time I had a chance to ride it, my restraint was locked painfully tight against my legs and took away all of the fun.
That inversion at 1:47 looks so janky lmao. Still looks like a fun ride tho, those bunny hills at the end look insane!

Yup it’s a Zierer family roller coaster that’s been there since 2019 for some reason!
