very popular in the UK back in the late 80s early 90s, origionated at straightliner events then into streetfighter magazine, origins from altringham and northwich areas of NW England, very easy conversion
The 1127 and 1157 engine is a fantastic engine. Since more then 25 years i drive the GSX 1100 F, a bike wich never get`s broken. Best regards from Germany.
I used to work on 70's bikes, that brings back memories, and what a cool upgrade. I'm all in with the hours. That takes some skills and friends. plus cash.
That is one truly gorgeous vintage musclebike, with a very big Surprise in it. Gorgeous paintjob and graphics..Sleeper performance parts and engine, which are the Big Surprise. ❤....Loved when you got squirrely on it. Enjoy your weekend and be safe. ML&R
I did that to 94 GSXR 750 w Has 2001 1200 Bandit S motor in it 4400 on motor has of today 9400 on the OD although I can't say it's is nice quality stuff you guys put out. I got no $ just lot o time I call her Hillbilly bandit 1200 A/F She's got 2 brothers carbon fiber can K n N s rejet Motocross far bars all bandit electric speedo tack She marches right up to 150 handels good gets lots o looks Kids love it I'm I've turned a few kids into gear heads. Too much fun
I am building one of these at the moment. 77 GS750/2000 Bandit 1200. Just fitted the 1200 engine today. Heading to the machine shop Monday for some new swing arm top hats and a spacer for the triple tree... Also, I have another GS750 that I've added a GSX750F engine running 2004 GSXR 750 suspension wheels brakes and such... UJM's get fun when we do stuff like this !!!
Hows the engine fit in the frame for you? Wondering what mounts look like as im a fabricator and can probably make them myself.I have a 77 gs750 that i now want to do this to after i finish my current chopper project haha
The original front frame mounts are used with the factory Bandit mounts. The rear mounts I have removed the tubes from the Bandit frame and am going to weld them into the GS frame. Send me a PM and I can show you the tubes and my plans for extended the brackets for the engine. I am using the full suspension front and rear and this way makes it easier to set up the rear. At least in my mind. It's funny because the 1200cc bandit engine fits easier than the GS1000 engine that was installed prior. I am also building another 77 GS750 with a Katana 750 engine. But this one has 2002 GSXR suspension.
That is wild sound also fast as it sounds. We all ❤ what the team and you do for the bikes . Ken sr it’s no secret you all 🔥 got it lit 🛎️ well done !!
Now that is why Kaplan cycles is king

Absolute monster. That red and gold paint is trick, super cherry I love it.
Sweet! I love my Bandit 1200S. Going for a ride right now!!
They way the oil cooling works in those is advanced ,that sounds super good ,I have had those motors .
beautiful looking old school bike
Looks sharp with the painted tail section instead of the full seat. Nice bike. 🎉
Serious bike with a serious pilot 👌 👍

I'm not always a fan of this era of styling, but man does this look great! not to mention the sound, those bandits produce some amazing noises!

There was a bloke in a shed somewhere who started shoehorning busa motors into gs1000 frames , they were selling like hot cakes at one time.

That bike is a fkn BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love those old school air/oil cooled Suzukis. I remember my ‘01 Bandit could easily hit 120 in 3rd gear on a short straightaway.
I did this Bandit 1200 swap on a slabside 87 GSXR. It is an awesome build!
Very popular bike in the UK where I'm from
Like the old 7/11 slabslider swaps.
Wow that thing is Gorgeous!!! That’s my Dream bike!!! So Sick!!!

Yoshimira cyclone is the only pipe I ran in the 90s
That bike is absolutely gorgeous 😍
That’s is an absolute dime piece! I wish I had a sack full of money
Now that’s a good looking bike!
I had an ugly looking GS850G last year and I'm realizing now I should have built it just like this guy. Amazing bike!
What a sweet bike !!! Thank you Ken& team!!!😊
That thing is very cool.
Keep riding them hard, absolutely love it
That's a crazy nice bike I wish I had room for it in my garage...

Used to see GS Suzis everyday in the 80s, but damn nothing as remotely sick as The Kaplan GS750 - Art in iron

Wild Man Kaplan. Rides real purdy.
Mr. Castines bike was based on a '79 GS1000.
What a weapon of a machine sounds like pure love ❤️.
I like THAT! Proper bike 💥
So good looking , beautiful machine .
I had a KZ 650 with a Z1 900 motor and CB 750 with an 83 1100f motor i desperately miss both and the KZ650 is still running
Got a Suzuki GSX restomodded with different Suzuki bike parts and Bandit 1100 engine.
There is quite a few of them here in the uk also gpz with that engine
🎵🎵to my ears!! And good looking bike!!
Amazing 1st gear alone is pure ⚙️ rocket 🚀 SHIP 😮
Absolute old school unit. 💪🧙♂️
Like the wheels! Like from a SV1000S or something.
Wow 🤩 very nice piece of kit indeed 💪👌👌👌
A stainless header would complete the look.
thats sweeeeeeeeeet man!
I remmber hearing theses sounds back in the day fuck yh buddy👍👌
Raw power! It's savage! Sissies need not apply
at least he’s respecting the speed limit!
Who said Carby's are Bad i love it !
Man, that thing is cool
I used to do 1/8 mile burnouts on my kz1000😊
I miss my 1200 Bandit S.
I'd like to see what that put out on the dyno. Because I think it's a fair bit more than 110bhp to be honest.
Now that is cool!
Do you know who painted that bike? It looks amazing!
What did that sell for? Beautiful.
F everything else . That bike is so badass!!
#Suzuki - simply the best!
Makes sense! The gs750 was slow at least compared to sportbikes. My zx6 was faster than my gs750 and gpz750. Didn't keep either very long😂
Too cool.. I put a yoshi rs3 on my 2024 honda monkey z125
Sending a check, NOW
That’s one fine thing 🫡
What a beast.
I will take Suzuki/Yoshimura for the win, Alex.
I LIKE IT. 🙀
You should have a Bike Show on RUclips…maybe once a week?
Go more in depth with your very special machines?
Dream bike
Comment from ireland those are 1127 gsxr slingshot carbs on that beast im sure its dynojetted stage 3 since running k and n pods am i right
Yes
Lovely
Dude has to be like 6'8. He makes every bike look so small.
I just saw this for sale on marketplace. Damn scammers!!
….that ain’t your grandpappy’s GS750 ..no..no..
I suspect this bike will leave most at the light with their faces spinning like Daffy-Duck ..
Cool
i’m in florida about to get it head on by a hurricane tomorrow can i pay you monthly for a bike??? i don’t have credit….
We can finance you through freedom road
@@KaplanCycles what would you recommend for a daily that wouldn’t break the bank? i’m also 6’2 215 so nothing too small
A GS750 on roids ...I like it !
Ripping it!!!!!!
What am I missing here, why not just buy a 1200? Why swap engines out...I mean plenty of 1200's available...
trellised
Nasty 👍

Saf
sounds like a f1 car, badass
