Your stats are really good, my sister got into Johns Hopkins anr Columbia with almost the same stats. Maybe you'll get into Columbia, you are still in the waitlist so nothing is over yet!
Defensive player of the year for soccer sounds really impressive. I take it that you meant for your entire athletic division? That is the kind of thing that can really influence colleges when they are trying to decide between multiple qualified applicants. I see where you wrote that you are going to UGA. Congratulations!! I am curious as to why you chose to pass up the opportunity to go to Northwestern.
StevieM2 for me it was the option best fit for me! it was the best financially and also more ideal of a transition for college!! i just personally felt like i would be more happy there
@@sandybaker7935 Well then that is the right school for you. The important thing is that you are happy with where you are attending and that you get a good education. I was just curious because I went to Washington University in St. Louis, which is kind of a rival school to Northwestern. In any event, I am sure you are going to love your time at UGA and will no doubt prosper there.
We have such similar college stories, i was deciding between northwestern and UGA for soooo long since im from georgia, i also forgot to send my SAT scores to tulane too
Hey! I love your vids! How did the AP Lang class go for you? I’m taking that next year and I kinda worried cuz I’m not that strong in English? Also, what were your best swim team times? I am a swimmer too and I was just wondering.
i liked AP Lang a lot because i had a pretty fun teacher but it may be a little difficult if you’re not strong in english just because of all annotating and essay writing:) and honestly i do not remember because i only swam for season!
Sandy Baker oh ok! Thanks for the advice about Lang. For swimming, I know that my times are pretty good and that if I were in another school district I would be on varsity. However, my school is very very competitive lol. Like our team has won conferences, regionals, and state almost every single year. Do you think that colleges would take this into consideration when applying or will they not care? I also swim hear around, like through Club during off season
Manisha Asrani i think it definitely helps because i think colleges look for students that have a passion and if they see you’re doing really well in swimming i think it could only work towards your benefit!
