Yeah, but you don't get to decide what convinces your brain to find attractive or reasonable or worthy of following. And even more than just that, you also can't decide on the environment that your brain develops in during the formative years of your life. You can't decide on your parents, on your genes, on your upbringing. All of these influence how your brain will react to things in the future when you're an adult.

Yes, because blame entails free will and there is no free will because brains are subject to and product of natural patterns in the universe. It's not possible to escape the laws of the universe.
This has always been the case. Magazines and movies were the culprits in the pre-internet world. Young people today just have to have it all now, whether it’s affordable or whether it makes sense doesn’t matter to them.
There were sharp spikes in clients for plastic surgery among young people under 30 in the pre-internet world? Which exact year can you pinpoint to when that was happening?
Because if it didn't happen, then this has not always been the case and there are specific nameable reasons for it happening now.
