- Do you like to go and see the final resting place of a famous figure in history, art, music or religion? As I mentioned in the “About” tab, I really like visiting cemeteries including necropolis, pantheons, and even catacombs.
My favourite cemetery in the world is Père Lachaise Cemetery that happens to be the most visited burial ground in the world, attracting around 3.5 million visitors each year. Père Lachaise Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Paris, France, at 44 hectares or 110 acres. So, it might not be that easy to find the tomb of a famous person you are looking for.
I’ll tell you how to locate the famous tombs of your choice at the Père Lachaise. Please come with me. Let's go Allons-y!
