I own this guitar. It's honestly insanely good independent of the price. Fantastic instrument

I love my JM JM! I use it for instrumental surf music. Those pickups sound great clean with lots of reverb!

I have never seen or used a budget brand making a guitar that matches the premium models until this one.

I have one of the older JMJM with the RW board. It’s fabulous for the $$$. I found a Gretsch ToM bridge that was 9.5” radius. Had to drill out for the larger posts. But it now intonate’s perfectly. Fender needs to come out with 9.5” radius TOM bridges. The neck is a chunky full C. So if you have small hands you might struggle a bit. Best JM for the $$$ really. Going to buy the Mascis JM pups for $129 and keep on rocking.

I’ve had mine for a few years now. It’s nothing short of perfect. I wanna change out the pots for some better 1MEGs just to get a bit more tonal range, but that’s just me.

Wasn't aware J Mascis had a Squier out, thanks for putting me on!

Literally the best Squier guitar you can buy right now. It’s soooo good. Punches far above its price range.

I’ve wanted one of these for years! From the moment I played one I just loved it!
I just got one last week from Musicians Friend on 0% for 48 (my favorite way to buy)!
It’s awesome! But I have to admit to me it’s but ugly and I have no need for the rhythm circuit.
I had hope that the G&L Doheny would be a better alternative for the aforementioned reason but it’s not! There’s just something about the J Macis!

Love mine. Do you know if the pickups are RWRP? Still noisy in middle position so it seems unlike standard JMs, these are not.

I own one of these and im not really a guitar tech but I seem to have feedback issues when i stop playing even on clean tone. when i take my hand off the neck its even worse. I love everything else about it and was wondering if anyone had a fix

Take it to a shop bro,it’s a wiring issue, that will probably be hard to fix if you’re unfamiliar with this stuff

@@bestguitarsnow Kind of reminded me of the chord progression from "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Sounds great!
