It does seem that Abandon Mill has developed a extreme camping strategy for almost all family players now. Especially with a Hands cause he is just a short run away from Fuse, Valve and Gen to ripstall

Connie definitely helps if you are good at getting to the doors and gates without being seen. But you have to be careful because her ability can leave you stranded with low stamina. It really depends on the family team. If it's a strong coordinated family team that is really good and I have to actually try and I escape barely. I might get some shakes lol

If you mean the fast crouch walk I’m not sure what it is on console but on PC you hold down SHIFT while crouching!
