Glad to found your channel, i was watching your recent Stamford Bridge tour when i decided to see if you have done Johan Cruijff ArenA, and turns out you did!! i am glad you enjoyed the tour ( i have been there myself for quite a few times ( last were in 2018 ), As we are a long forgotten big clubs of the Europe up until recently, i really love it when people talk about our club, because kids or football fans nowadays only talk about the top 4 Leagues ( EPL, La Liga, Bundes Liga and Serie A ) But we have always been incredible a lot of time in the past decade and people just never paid attention because we are in Eredivisie with not much exposure to the world. Thank you for reviewing the Johan Cruijff ArenA!
Sadly football favours the big leagues and clubs such as Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord, Celtic, Rangers, Benfica, Porto, Sporting CP and Anderlecht etc are underappreciated because they play in a weaker league but the proper fans know that football is not just about the top league clubs.
@@aidygooner Agree! i mean the big leagues are attractive to watch for sure, of course with all the best players playing there. but lower tier leagues like Austria, Denmark, Sweden and Portugal have a lot of good players that might just wow the audience once in a while. i especially love those leagues because you'll surprise yourself of how many good players are playing there without any exposure to most football fans except their own supporter ( even some of the players are technically and mentally better better than players playing in the likes of Milan, Madrid, Barca, CIty Juve etc )
I am heading to Amsterdam in just over a week and will be doing a tour here which will be my first stadium tour. Was going to go to a match against FC Volendam or Heerenveen but tickets are pricey for league matches so ill be just do the tour and see if those matches are in local bars or not. I done the Amsterdam Arena tour in 2014 and it was terrible. Wasn't allowed in the dressing room & no trophy room, which is a shame because I've been a Ajax fan since the 90s. Might need to go back, looks like they've updated the tour
Hey, i bought the official Man City Audio tour and it was pretty good. Did you try the headset audio tour guide for Ajax FC as well ? what was that like?
Hey mate, no I didnt try the audio guide. I believe it cost extra if I remember correctly. However there's staff at every single section of the tour and they're amazing at answering any questions you have 😎😊
Hi Mark, thanks for watching and commenting. I actually visited Vitesse a few years ago before I had a youtube channel and that was an amazing day! Yes. The first years in the ArenA the pitch was really really bad. So in 2009 (13 years after it was opened) they came with that lights things that helps the grass to grow. It improved the pitch massively.
Hey Noah, I'd like to go everywhere eventually! I have already seen games in Indonesia and Thailand but will plan on coming back to watch games in Malaysia too. I'd also love to go to Bali United again! But yeah South America too would be amazing!

School won't teach you this, they are deliberately trying to keep you on an under educated level... And some history was written that a real Ajax has existed in life!
What's your favourite Ajax memory? Let me know below!!!
My favorite Ajax moment is when my Manchester United passed them to win the Europa League 3 years ago :D lol jk
Haha oh yeah! I remember that. Mkhtaryian scored I think?
Footy Adventures yes. Pogba and Micki both scored in that game.
