    ¡Aprende inglés conmigo! bit.ly/3sdEklR
Hola, I'm Nate. I used to not know any Spanish at all, and I had no interest in learning the language. I thought learning Spanish would be boring, a waste of time, and would provide no value to my life. Then I started taking Spanish classes in high school and everything changed for me. I struggled with learning the language a lot at first, but thanks to my teachers and my Spanish speaking friends, they helped make the learning process fun. Within a few months, I had gotten to a conversational level, but more important, I had become a more confident person. The real win for me, though, was the friendships I made and strengthened. I discovered that not only did I have higher self esteem, but being out in the real world with people, whether old friends or new ones I met, made me feel more alive and connected with the world around me. Now it's my goal to create videos that make you smile and inspire you to learn Spanish or another language!

While I am still a work in progress, I spent many, many hours in my verb conjugation book. I learned how to form and when to use all the tenses correctly. Once I got that, I just had to get the irregulars and the stem changing ones and certain spelling changes. It came somewhat easily to me, I just kinda did a little bit every day and strung a lot of days together. Easier than it looks like if you realize stuff only changes in certain places.

Español es el idioma más fácil de todos los tiempos, toda la gente puede aprender español si se esfuerza un poco. Por ejemplo, alcancé al nivel avanzado solo dentro de dos años.

I know it seems like a mountain of stuff to learn, but if you go through it slowly day by day it can be done. I'm gonna steal an example from some scientist, not sure who it was. So, how are you able to spot an invisible man running through a crowded room full of people? You can't, but maybe you see people moved or pushed aside. Once you get the rules down for forming tenses, you have a template of what is normal. Then you can go through a verb book, anywhere from 500-3000 verbs, and just notice what is strange. There are a handful of irregular verbs and there are some that have slight spelling changes here and there. It can be done. ¡Palante!
